A Kauai Paradise

Posted on April 22, 2006 07:23 PM by Joel Comm

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week in Kauai, Hawaii. I'll say this. Six nights is not long enough to be in paradise.

And a paradise it was...

We stayed at the Kauai Marriott Beach Hotel and Resort, just a couple miles from the Lihue airport. It took THREE airplanes to get us there, but it was worth it.

I'll be blogging more about our adventures in the coming week. For now, feast your eyes on this Hawaiin beach...

Pretty cool. I love Kauai! Hopefully we'll get a chance to go back there this year.

What shape was the Marriott in? It looked like it was flooded pretty badly after the levee broke last month. Were there a lot of people at the hotel?

    Hi Joe,

How was the weather? Did you need to make any alternative arrangements due to the recent rainstorms?

What airlines did you take? Were you lucky enough to fly on Hawaiian Airlines? They have the best ranking in the nation for on-time performance and customer service. I hope all went well.

    Dave.
