A Reminder

Posted on May 15, 2004 03:04 PM by Joel Comm

With the mainstream liberal media attempting to distract the American public by focusing on what is taking place in Iraqi prisons, let's not forget exactly why we are in Iraq and what the war is really all about.

What a surprise to stumble on someone seeing clearly these days. I'm not forgetting.

  2. Trav Says:

They never proved a link between Osama and Sadam. The reason Bush went to war was WMDs.

  3. Joel Comm Says:

    You are incorrect, my friend.

I suggest you read up on the evidence.

The weekly standard is your evidence? You are fuuny!

There is no connection between Iraq and 9/11, simple as that.

Yes, let's not forget why we are in Iraq - OIL!

    Educate yourself Joel.

  5. m Says:

Also, how dare you use that image to back your incorrect point. You are trivializing the tragedy of 9/11 by using it as propoganda. Have some respect!

  6. Joel Comm Says:

I'm sorry, "m", but you are the one who is incorrect. You have fallen for the democrat/liberal mantra... hook, line and sinker. I have educated myself on the issue and I see quite clearly. I can only pray that enough other Americans see clearly as well, to avoid the catastrophe that a John Kerry presidency would undoubtedly be.

  7. Ben Says:

thank you for seeing things clearly.

  8. Hidalgo Says:

OK, we're in Iraq because of 9/11. Then... Why are we in Afghanistan? I think the answer all right-wing Warhawks (as the least objectionable name I could produce for you) like yourself, Mr. Joel, really think is that sandniggers or towelheads are all terrorists. Afghanistan, Iraq, same place. North Korea's different, though, cause they look Chinese. They all look Chinese over there.

Mind you, I've attempted to argue the republican side time and time again, because, by definition of liberal, I'm keen on seeing and understanding all points of views and opinions. The more I research your clearly addle-brained sentiments, though, the more I discover them to be exactly that: addle-brained.

I apologize for the bluntness of my post.
    Peace out.

what is going on in iraqi prisons makes us as bad as the terrorists who attacked on 911. if you say youve educated yourself, then why not give the proof?

911 was a horrible horrible tragedy, but the us has always been above sinking to the level of its attackers and enemys, until now. We are going against every american ideal, freedom from cruel and unusual punishment, right to a trial by jury.

It seems as if the terrorist attacks have worked, they were an attack on everything that was american, and it has caused us to stumble and fall, and lose our ideals, to lose what always held us above the rest.

i do agree that liberals have a control over alot of the media, and this saddens me as well. the media should always be unbiased, and many people are misled by liberals. The fact is though, 911 is used as an EXCUSE for iraq, not a reason. of the top 3 terrorists on the list of america, one is from egypt, one from iran, and the last from saudi arabia, and get this, all of those countries are american allies. we are in iraq because it was an enemy to our allies with oil.
