I have nothing personal against Al Gore. I'm sure he's a very nice person if you get to know him. I think his policies are attrocious and I can't thank God enough that he lost the Presidency. But he's in the news again and its a humorous story.
A police officer in Oregon pulled over a speeding vehicle, only to find out it was none other then the former democratic candidate for President. Most of us have gotten speeding tickets in the past. This is just an amusing story, especially since there is a video story on the web site. Enjoy!

Joel,
Since you didn't put a "comment" section on your post predicting a "blowout" for Bush, I'll comment here.
First, the Bush attacks on Kerry have often been dishonest. Zell Miller says Kerry wouldn't defend the country. An outright lie. Miller also described Carter as a pacifist and then connected Kerry to Carter. Well, for one thing Carter wasn't a pacifist and in fact took a hardline against the Soviets.
You talk about mean-spirited. Your own unwillingness to even acknowledge Carter's Christianity seems rather mean to me.
A Bush blowout? No. Bush may win, but not by much. The latest Zogby poll, taken during the Republican convention, shows Bush leading 46% to 44%. Zogby has a pretty good record of accuracy.
My own prediction is for Bush to win the popular vote narrowly and for Kerry to win the electoral vote narrowly.
So, how many electoral votes are you predicting Bush to get?
On to the debates!
