I recently had the opportunity to do a book signing at our local Barnes & Noble store in Loveland, Colorado.
The team at the store was very friendly and accomodating, setting up an area for me to do a couple presentations, interact with customers and sign books.
They ordered plenty of copies of Click Here to Order and The AdSense Code, so there was enough for everyone.
They placed a nice sign on the table and made announcements over the PA system to let customers know that I was in the building.
People are so very interested in the Internet opportunity, and several of my local customers came out to meet and speak with me.
We went from 12 pm - 2 pm, but I found myself answering questions well after the ending time.
All-in-all, Barnes and Noble's staff was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely do it again.
Perhaps next year when Twitter Power hits the shelves?

Looks like it was a successful event. I'll have to check out your hard copy books. ebooks are great but I still like the old fashioned bound books.
One question though, you mention "the adsense code" is adsense still a viable way to make money online?
Would like to have been there to hear you speak in a small setting, Joel. I enjoy your posts on Twitter, and am looking forward to reading your new book.
People still need to meet other people and socialize with each other, and often att small gatherings you can do good business. People can ask questions directly and get a feel for the author that wrote the book etc. Well done Joel, when are you on your way by the way to Australia?

Hello, I enjoyed reading your experience with B&N. I am actually fairly new in the Media Rep world and have never worked with B&N before. One author that I am promoting (Tami Gaines) is an expert on Preemie Parents (Preemieparents.com) and she is being sponsored by the March of Dimes during one of their major marches (Walk For babies) in May.
I am looking to get her a book signing in Bergen County, NJ B&N in April and was wondering who you might have contacted to get on the list for signings.
