A new poll shows President Bush dominating Democratic Presidential candidate John F. Kerry with an 80% to 20% lead. This poll, conducted on Sunday, May 30th, interviewed particpants face to face and asked the following questions.
1) If the election were held today, who would you vote for, President Bush or John Kerry?
80% of respondents noted their vote would go for President Bush.
2) Are you happy with President Bush's job performance?
Again, 80% of the respondents gave a resounding "yes".
3) Do you believe the war on terror is a critical issue for voters?
For a third time, 80% of those polled responded with an affirmative answer.
If this poll is any indicator of the election to come this November, it will be President George W. Bush in a landslide.
This poll was conducted in my household. Myself, my wife and my two kids all have our heads on straight and couldn't imagine voting for John Kerry even if he claimed to be the Messiah. Our dog, Socrates, was the fifth individual polled. Since he didn't seem to have a clue what we were saying, we put him in the Kerry camp. No treats for him if Kerry wins.
