Bush to Renominate Filibustered Judges

Posted on December 24, 2004 10:29 AM by Joel Comm

What a great Christmas Eve present! President Bush is going to renominate the qualified judges that were arrogantly filibustered by the Democrats in Senate last term.

The Dems can still attempt to do the same thing this time around, but hopefully they will remember the fate of Tom Daschle, and they will think twice before standing the way of the majority. Of course, some Senate Democrats are already crying out about this, claiming that Bush wants to load the judiciary with "extremists". Up is down and light is dark. It's all backwards in Liberal-Ville, where the real extremists have been loading the courts with wackos for years. It's time to get back to INTERPRETING the law instead of legislating from the bench.

Thank you, Mr. Bush. Now let's see if the Republicans have the cajones to do what is needed in order to achieve an up or down vote on each nominee.
