Business Class - The Only Way to Fly

Posted on June 4, 2008 08:17 PM by Joel Comm

We departed Los Angeles at 11:30 pm on June 3rd and arrived in Fiji at 5 am on June 5th. Go figure.

I am really glad we paid the extra cash to get seats in Business Class on Air Pacific. It was well worth it!

Check out this video to get a taste of the good life. :-)

Way to go Joel - thanks for the video. Looks like a mini party on board.

OK. Maybe not (after watching it the second time)

The first time I flew back from Japan was cool. I went direct Japan to LA, then hopped a flight to Saint Louis. I was in St. Louis before I left Japan. That afternoon in a bar the owner promised free drinks all day for the person who could prove they traveled the most to be there. Since I was in the Marine Corps I had my travel orders with me. I flew in from Japan to hang out in a bar.

Nice! It's crazy the difference between the two in leg room.

Aloha Brother, I know that Fiji trip well! Did it a few times when I went there on diving trips. The upgrade is well worth it too;)

Hope you are having a great time. Let me know when you are back, love to catch up.

    Hey Joel,

    Just one quick question...

    Where's Z?

    Thanks,

    Hey Joel :)

Sucks I didn't get on your list earlier! I am living in Australia - and cruising over to the US in August for Robert Puddy's convention thing.. I don't get to travel business class this time... lol - maybe next time!

We are flying air tahiti, with a 5 night stop over in Tahiti, so I can't complain too much. (chuckles)

But.. hey! At least I am going to be IN A PLANE - and getting over some oceans!

Hope to catch up some where along the line - in the meantime enjoy your business class - I am sure in August I will be so envious that I might spend a big chunk of the (uncomfortable) time thinking up some new ways to earn more cash - so I can upgrade next time... lol

Either that or I'll give Timothy Ferriss' ideas a whirl and see if we can get comped.. hey - I can try!

    All the best!
    Cindy

  9. Cindy Battye Says:

ooops - my point with not getting on your list earlier was that I could have come and seen ya... duh!

  10. Shawn Says:

    Hey Joel,

I just got your e-mail about the gas mileage thing. Say, how come you don't spend some of that AdSense gUaP and buy your own gas station, so that you can capitalize on gasoline profits?
