Coming Soon

Posted on March 26, 2008 12:32 AM by Joel Comm

I was at a conference recently and someone asked me if I had anything in the works.

I had to laugh.

Ha!

When I think about how many projects we've got in the works, I can't help but laugh!

Seriously, me and my team are projectaholics. We just love creating and coming up with new stuff that people will like.

So what's coming soon?

Here are a few hints....

1) I haven't released an updated edition of AdSense Secrets since March 2006. Could version 4.0 be on the horizon? And what might I do that will stir things up with the launch?

2) I'm planning on doing something with one of my flagship products that's never been done before. It's a first for me in all my years online.

3) Tools. You've got to have great tools to build great web sites. And we are working on some killer tools that will make your life much easier. I can't wait to show these to you!

4) It's been almost two years since The AdSense Code became a New York Times Best seller. Is there a follow-up in the making? And is it possible that it has nothing to do with AdSense. Mmmmmm... could be!

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. My whiteboard is full and we're going to be cranking out some fantasitc products and services this year.

Stay tuned. It's just getting exciting. :-)

Joel, you are the MASTER of keeping us in suspense! lol
Well, I have to say, when I first read "The AdSense Code" I thought sure that there was no way AdSense would work on forums, due to the varying scope of topics from one thread to the next. Then I saw your chapter about it, and started looking around and apparently, if one can crack the AdSense Forum Code, it can be a real moneymaker.

I was thinking of doing a forum at one time about "making money online", but then WarriorForum came to my attention and that really took the wind out of my sails. I want to get into a market/niche("neesh") that hasn't really been touched on before. Is there such a thing?

Great livecast today, Joel! Now that you've got this going, the possibilities are endless!

I'm excited thinking of what I could do with live real-time conferences! You really pushed the envelope (actually you busted it wide open!).
I looooved that screaming little monkey! When the replay of the livecast becomes available, I'm gonna get one!

Dear Joel, I am following up with you to know if you are interested in reviewing our services or interviewing our CEO. We would be happy to give you a free
email marketing account with us as a thank you for an interview or a review. Please let me know if you are interested to partner with us in this or other way.
    Thanks in advance.

It is a smart move to announce something that is finalized and ready rather when it's in the planning. Certain people may be wondering what someone is up to and whether there's something new coming out. Though, I learned that announcing the launch of a finished product is more powerful than announcing the idea and when it is "scheduled" to come out.

Just imagine certain things in the production phase is postponed and your customers and prospects are eagerly waiting because you told them it will come out yesterday...

Having said that, I like your approach of not telling what will happen when but keeping folks in suspense. Because... at the end of the day, what really counts is what is available NOW.

Joel, It's a great way to people waiting & expecting the arrival of the products, so that when they actually hit the market, there's a huge demand already built for it and as a consequence becomes a runaway hit!
