I am sitting in Chicago O'Hare airport reflecting on this past weekend. Yes, I am taking the long way home from North Carolina, but you do what you gotta do. Anyhow...
This was a fantastic weekend for so many reasons.
First of all, I now have my first live presentation behind me (hmmm.. that may not sound right...). I had been nervous about public speaking, but my peers and the atmosphere of the conference room put me at ease. I was quite eager to share my information with the attendees, so everything went very smoothly. I believe I was able to effectively communicate my story, and hopefully inspired some others to achieve success.
Secondly, I have laid the foundation for what will become my second tier product. I will not disclose anything right now, but a few select people are in on the agenda. You know who you are. ;-)
But most importantly, this weekend was a thrill because of the great people I was privileged to spend it with. Whether I'm talking about Internet marketing greats like Mike Filsaime, Craig Perrine and Gary Ambrose (okay, and Robert Puddy), or conference attendees such as Wren Meyers, Alex Hunter and Jim Enright, there is just nothing like being around great people who share like interests and desire to help each other achieve their goals!
Sure, there are some people out there with tremendous egos, but I haven't seen alot of it. Making money is fun. Making money alongside other good people is even more fun. But even if I wasn't making money, I'd like to hang out with these people.
Word has it that Robert is already planning another event for Summer 2006. And in a momentary lapse of judgment, he has asked me if I would want to return. Silly Brit.. of course I will. :-)
