Entrecard

When I was at Blogworld last week, I came upon the booth of a company called "Entrecard." Their display caught my attention and I introduced myself to the CEO, Graham Langdom.

To my surprise, Graham is also the creator of The Million Dollar Wiki. The reason I was surprised is that I had become familiar with that site the week before and had purchased a few pages on the site!

Anyhow, knowing how innovative Graham is, I knew there must be something to Entrecard... and I was right!

Entrecard provides blog owners with an opportunity to use their blog sidebar and turn it into valuable advertising space.

Think of it as an internet business card.

And like any business card, it is a powerful networking tool.

I created a simple 125 x 125 advertisement for AskJoelComm.com. I then place my card in the inventory and it becomes available for other blog owners to place on their site.

When they display my Entrecard, they receive credits to display THEIR Entrecard on other sites! It's free advertising with a Web 2.0 twist!

Want to try it yourself? Drop your Entrecard on my blog!

To my knowledge, this is the first and ONLY 125 x 125 ad exchange program out there. I noticed that my friend, Jeremy Schoemaker, is also using Entrecard on Shoemoney.com.

It's very easy to use and a simple way to get more traffic. Try it! Sign up for free and launch your own targeted advertising campaign.

Funny this should come up on my radar now, you must have just added it to your new blog. Anyways, good of you to promo Graham... Entrecard will have its dips and rises as does any business but I have faith in that "kid"... give EC time as it goes through its growing pains.

And by the way, nice blog,
    Sam
