GameZNFlix.com - Update 4/28/2004

Posted on April 29, 2004 12:00 AM by Joel Comm

gzfx.gifMy investment in GameZNFlix.com is starting to pay off. Trading as GZFX on the OTC bulletin board exchange, this little penny-stock company has got guts.

As mentioned in a previous entry, Ben Curtis of "Dude, you're getting a Dell" fame was on CNBC Wednesday afternoon and he talked about the company. He will be featured in three commercials to be broadcast nationally in early May.

The stock hit a high of .14 today and is set to take off soon. Netflix has just raised their monthly rates and GameZNFlix offers a more attractive program for a lower fee. Not only do they rent DVDs, but video games are included in the membership.

The site is ranked #38907 on Alexa today and their traffic seems to be increasing regularly.

Watch this one and don't say I didn't warn ya!

    Dear Sirs,
I have been a member with veegeez.com for several months and I considered their service excellent. Since becoming Gameznflix I would rather throw myself in front of a Blockbuster truck. They cancelled my account after just asking a simple question about pricing. It took 2 days to turn it back on. On May 26th I went online and ordered some games. It is now June 9th and I have received one game. I have tried several emails the latest response was very discouraging (see below). I suggest this stock is a dog and should be impounded.
    Thank You

We have checked your queue and see that several titles are or have shipped. Some of your titles have been ordered for you from our distributor and will ship as quickly as they are received.

We are a new business and management decided to build the inventory based on member requests vs trying to guess what you would like to see. This does cause a bit of a delay in you receiving the exact titles you requested.

    Dear Sirs,
Ever since you became gameznflix it has been a nightmare. You cancelled my account for no reason. Than when I emailed again you re-instated my account but never responded to tell me you turned on my account. So here I am waiting since May 28th with my games waiting in the queue since the 28th (go look for yourself). It is now Sunday the 6th (9 days later) and nothing has happened other than you charging me another 18.50 today. Well
    My name is Russell Freeman
Please email me a name and phone number to talk to someone directly please. Also, the best time to reach them (specify your time zone please).
    Thank You

it hasn't gotten any better... they cancelled my account after i lost my credit card and so i haven't been able to get in and give them a new card... i have posted repeatedly on the new "help" system and honestly have only been told that my account has been cancelled due to billing failure.

I have asked how i can give a new card number...how do i handle the situation... and all i have received is BLANK posts and had my issues CLOSED dispite the fact that they have NOT answered my questions!

Really bad experience here. After some research and wanting to get away from the horrible blockBuster; I decided to give you guy's a shot. My 13 year old son was excited about the fact you included games in your program. This was a big plus. All of the Kids in his class at school were looking for a service just like this one. My son decided to be the first to try it and let everyone know if it was really what they advertised it to be. Signing up was easy. However, everytime we looked for a game or DVD on our list, it was not available till a futuristic date. This was diaappointing. So we decided to bail. I should also mention, we did not join the trial program. We signed up for the full program. However, We cancelled our account within 30 minutes of establishing it because we just could not get what we wanted. Two days later they charged my credit card and have still not reversed the charges. Looks to me like the business process for account maintenance needs some work. I have sent emails but received no response. I am unable to find a phone number to call. At the end of the day; any comany who hopes to make it in the on-line world we evoling into must have the ability to create acceptable customer service. No responses for emails and no customer service phone numbers ranks this service as unacceptable. Not to mention complaints to BBB which I will add to if this matter is not resolved soon. Food for thought... don't you think. Also, I can't imagine my son will be giving good word of mouth references for your company to his classmates.

I tried gameznflix.com. So far it has been over a week and still haven’t recieved the first movie. At the rate its going you MAY get 2 movies in a month with the 1 movie rental at a time membership. Hell it is cheaper to go to blockbuster and you get the movie when you want. The customer service is prompt but very rude and refuse to do refunds. I haven’t even gotten anything yet and they refuse. Stay away from them. The ship from who knows where and don’t have return tracking either. Go with someone else! Horrible service. Trust me, stay away from them.

I joined gameznflix about a month ago. I am very unsatisfied with the service. I signed up for 3 titles out at a time. I have never been shipped more than two titles. Usually we only received one title at a time. I am cancelling my service.

I appreciate you for posting the Gameznflix phone # for me because I had a game and retuned it. It is still saying that I have that game out. So giving me the phone number could really help me out.
    Thank You

  9. Jared Says:

At first everything seemed great until this point I have returned two titles well over ten days ago and they still show they haven't received either. Good idea and price but worthless service.

  10. Sean Says:

Gameznflix is hands-down the worst customer support experience I have ever had. For some reason, there was one game that would get added to my queue over and over again, despite me removing it. I contacted gameznflix no less than 15 times! There response was always some form of "your problem has been fixed" and when i would check, big surprise, it was not fixed! The game was actually shipped to me twice (which is a waste of time and money because I would have to ship the game back and wait all that time for a new one, which i shouldve gotten in the first place) and when I requested compensation, I was simply ignored. Ive contacted the BBB and I HIGHLY recommend that everyone avoids this site like the plague. Ill repeat, WORST CUSTOMER "SERVICE" IN HISTORY!
