I came across an interesting new site today. It is called GreenZap.com. Basically, GreenZap is looking to be an alternative to PayPal, providing for online payments of merchandise through their system. But what's interesting about them is that you can also earn Webcash just by referring people to them. If you click the link below and sign up for a free account, they will deposit $25 in Webcash in your account. No strings attached! Check it out.
Get a FREE GreenZap account.

GreenZap zapped me out of your referral link. Why, Joel? Every time I click your link it says the referred account "Does not exist." Why?

Anti-GreenZap sites have been tied to eBay and PayPal. They are doing their best to try to crush GreenZap with cyber-slander.
Nobody in their right mind would believe that GreenZap, a company that offers a free service, is a scam. Attempts to discredit PayPal's newest competitor is nothing new from eBay. They have done this many times before…just read “PayPal Wars” to see the underhanded tactics that eBay uses.
It is a matter of time before GreenZap takes legal action against this obvious cyber-slander.
GreenZap gold members receive 100 transactions for their $100 and no longer have to deal with PayPal’s rediculous fees.
Truth and logic will always prevail. eBay’s monopoly will soon crumble because they only care about profits. They have proven this by eliminating their loyalty program and hiking fees. GreenZap is forcing them to rethink their business model, and these obvious attempts to discredit GreenZap don’t fool anybody.

GZap Jeff, are you? (greenzapscam.com)
First off, it's not SLANDER. If anything, it's LIBEL.
eBay and PayPal are NOT doing this. Please call Seth from eBay who posted there.
P.S. How did Seth find it? Simple. I called eBay and told them about your libel.
July 31, 2005 05:39 PM
It's simple folks - Greenzap is a scam. Lots of people have done their due diligence on this "company" and there are dozens of reasons to stay far, far away. Just visit scam.com and you'll find what everyone has found on Greenzap. It's not good. In fact, it's laughably horrible.

Greenzap is a ponzi scheme based on a multi-tiered pyramid scam.
Brilliant Damon Westmoreland and Jeff Rogers.
Just brilliant.
How soon until the feds shut this operation down, too?

The San Diego BBB is now adding consumer complaints about Greenzap, Inc.

Interesting.. I knew nothing about this, so it will be intriguing to see how it plays out. I have signed up and have several people who have done the same. Will anything come of it? remains to be seen...
August 5, 2005 08:49 PM
Part of the scam explained to Jeff Rogers (simplified):
1. Greenzap starts advertising affiliations with Sony, Target, etc.
2. 300,000 people see it, like it and sign up.
3. Greenzap takes the affiliation logos down completely.
4. Greenzap changes from “$25 bucks” to “$25 webcash” in their ads.
5. 300,000 people get pissed off.
This part of the scam is known in a courtroom as "bait and switch".

GreenZap offers a free service that dramatically reduces fees that are levied by the eBay/PayPal Monopoly. All of the negative cyber-slander against this PayPal competitor have been linked to PayPal employees, acting as GreenZap Naysayers with multiple identities.
The highly anticipated GreenZap stores are scheduled to be released in Septmember, where GZ members will be able to spend their Cash and WebCash on virtually any product on the internet.
August 8, 2005 05:46 PM
Jeff, if all that you claim comes true, and nobody loses on the deal, I will support Greenzap 100%. So many people have been lost a ton of money on businesses that have involved Damon Westmoreland in the past. It's very difficult to trust this man and his partners at this point.
If they make good on Greenzap, I will be a believer. Heck, I might even use them at some point.

Once, Mr. Jeff, you finally admit you're Jeff Rogers!

Jeff,
The ebay/paypal accusations are rediculous. GZ poses no threat to the livelyhood of Paypal. Beyond the fact that Ebay owns paypal, eBay has no concern itself over which payment method it’s users choose to use.
What eBay cares about is auction fees. Use INTGold, Alertpay, credit card, check, cash, money order, whatever you like when it comes to eBay, they only want the auction fee.
eBay is not going to try to drive away business in whatever form it rears its head in (as long as it is legal)
As a matter of fact Greenzap Auctionz IS eBay auctions with a search criteria of “greenzap” in the title or description sorted by highest to lowest price. If eBay is out to get rid of Greenzap, why would greenzap use them for “Greenzap Auctionz”???
People that are posting here about Greenzap are pissed about the bait and switch tactics of Grenzap, and their inability to deliver a viable payment processing system. They have been slighted and quite possibly convinced members of their family and friends to join greenzap under the false pretenses that Greenzap put forth with their claim of free $25 for signing up.
At current market value, what people got for signing up with greenzap is $0.25 USD.
Where are the merchant tools?
Where are the shops?
If they ever do get released, will they be better than the hype that surrounded the “Greenzap Auctionz”?? Did it really take a couple of weeks after launch to create a search link to eBay? If so why?
Jeff, you are going to have to do better than accusing every person that is unhappy with what they got for signing up with greenzap of working for Paypal or eBay.
With the amount of time you have spent here in this blog ranting, you could have produced a website that dispells the “lies” about greenzap that you seem to believe are being told.
So toss up your own website that clearly proves that these are lies being told here (other than your own lies that is) register it in your own name, and lend credibility to the fact that you are not in fact Jeff Rogers, pal of Damon and supporter of his previous failed ventures.
Really, I mean it. Make your own site in support of GZ that dispells the “lies” that you seem to think exist. God knows that Greenzap could use it. Make a good enough site with credible documented proof that GZ is not a scam, and I will sign up under your referal link myself!
But drop these worthless claims that eBay is out to get GZ. The only people out to get GZ these days are would be scammers that would love to get a hold of a list of 300,000 email addresses of people that will sign up for the promise of free cash and getting rich quick. The “gold” member list is probably worth real gold, it is a list of people willing to send in a hundred bucks for $1 worth of unspendable fake currency, a true scammers dream.

To Date - Damon who has owned, run or just been a self described "consultant" has had his companies investigated by:
The Federal Trade Commission
The US Postal Service
The Secret Service
The Attorney General of South Carolina
The state of Alabama
The Attorney General of Alaska
GreenZap - his latest adventure was founded with either 10k or 25k in cash... they would like you to think that they are a threat to ebay/paypal a 50 Billion dollar company...... But fortunatly (yes I am kidding) they don't offer any of the same services...
Why do peole use PayPal - Answer - because it allows people to instantly complete transactions using credit cards, with all the bells and whistles like buyer protection live customer service 7 days a week etc.
Does GreenZap offer any of these services?
No Buyer Protection
No live customer service
Does not take Credit cards
Green Zap doesn't offer the value that paypal does....
They question is - unless you are selling $100 memberships, why would you use it?
August 18, 2005 10:51 PM
I can send a transaction via PayPal without paying $1, but rather like $0.59. $21.75 goes to about $0.96 or so in PayPal fees.
So GreenZap is LOST money on transaction fees most of the time.

At $0.01 per WebCash, you'd need $100 WebCash for a single dollar. A thousand WebCash is $10. So 10,000 WebCash equals $100.00.
Unspendable. Fake. Worthless. Scam.

Ever heard of a pump and dump stock scam?
Here is a hint, $110,000 was spent to promote the stock....
http://uk.us.biz.yahoo.com/iw/051014/097952.html
"WSCF has been compensated Seventy Thousand Dollars for past coverage and Forty Thousand Dollars for current coverage of NPW Development, Inc. "
AND 1.5 Million shares were spent to promote the stock....
http://www.otcmarquee.com/featured-company.htm
"ATN Enterprises, LLC has been hired by third-party consultants (CLX & Associates, Inc.) and is contracted to receive 1,500,000 free-trading shares of NPWV for the publication and dissemination of this "

I've already reported them to the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/) and the Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov/). I wouldn't have done so if they would have not turned my $100 deposit into Webcash.
I thought I would put $100 into my account to start a savings account that we couldn't dip into. Greenzap turned it into Webcash and gave me bonus Webcash for the deposit. I can't do anything with the Webcash. I can use it to shop at their affilitated stores (they earn money for each shopping spree you do when you go through their shopping links). I can also use it to earn cash back but I have to spend a certain percentage to get my $100 back. For example I would have to spend $1000 at a store offering 10% cash back to be my $100 back.
So now I have useless Webcash just sitting in my account unused. It will remain unused and I won't give it away for free to build someone else's account, not unless I got my $100 back anyway. I could careless about any of the so called bonuses or rewardz.
I wanted a savings account. I ended up losing $100 and I'm too afraid to add any more money because I worry they will just convert that to Webcash too.

Dear Distributors:
We all have had some legitimate concerns on erroneous charges to our banking institutions. Some have felt that the owners of EcoEnergizers were at fault. This letter is being written to announce that Green Zap is presently holding approximately one half million dollars of funds due to both EcoEnergizer and our distributors. Only $33,000 has been received by EcoEnergizer from Green Zap up to this point. The owner of Green Zap has visited the corporate office twice to reconcile the accounts, however, to our knowledge Green Zap has not forwarded any further funds to either EcoEnergizer or the Distributors via their MyEcoPay accounts. EcoEnergizer is presently in pursuit of these funds under professional legal council?s advice. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused any of our Distributors along with our company. The staff at EcoEnergizer does hear and read all of the personal concerns and issues. Our hearts are heavy for each of you, however, we will not give up or stop until everything has been rectified.
On many occasions Green Zap has been instructed via email and telephone to stop all further deductions from EcoEnergizer Distributors accounts. Green Zap assured us each time that all deductions would be stopped immediately and we have no evidence of any such compliance. By the time you read this letter, Green zap will be notified in writing via certified mail, demanding that they immediately stop any further deductions and pay in full all monies due both EcoEnergizer and our distributors. In the meantime, we need your assistance by reporting any past and future transactions involving unauthorized removal of monies from any unknown sources to your banking institution and to notify us at service@ecoenerizer.com. We request that you notify us and/or fax copies of all banking transactions to 678-868-2287. Please be sure that your name and ID number is included in your fax.
Presently EcoEnergizer is in the process of eliminating all autoship orders in our database.
EcoEnergizer is striving to get all monies and commissions to each of you upon receipt of our money from Green Zap. We at EcoEnergizer pledge to ensure that all needs are met no matter how funds are obtained.
We love and appreciate all our distributors and hope you will choose to weather this storm with us, and become an inspiration to the advancement and growth of EcoEnergizer.
Moving ahead ? for your $UCE$$

In the past 2 weeks money hase been taked from my checking account BY GREENZAP and I didn't approve it.
Bank says the check by Three,Inc was counterfeit.
What is going on?
April 26, 2008 09:42 PM
5 checks were drawn from my credit union checking account since last October. All were payable to Mazumah or Sabawa and I never authorized them at all. On the check was a phone number and when called it was answered by an answering machine at Greenzap. They did not return any calls from me or my credit union.
It's my understanding that Mazumah is owned by the same man as Greenzap. I think they got my personal information through my membership in Jet99 some years ago.
This forged check problem is very widespread too. Just do a search for Mazumah+Sabawah and you will find many reporting such crime associated with Greenzap through Mazumah.
This crime has been reported to the police and the IC3 online.
If the Greenzap website is still up, please do not give them any of your personal information. It's very dangerous.
