It has been a whirlwind long weekend in the suburbs of Chicago. We flew in late Thursday to celebrate my nephew's Bar Mitzvah. Friday night was a family dinner at my brother's home. Saturday was the ceremoney. Sunday was a fantastic party. Today we head back to Oklahoma.
I have a good many thoughts on the Bar Mitzvah, as well as how it relates to my Jewish heritage and my Christian faith, but it's time to pack and I hope to expound later. (for those who would even give a rip!)
Time to catch a taxi to the airport and head home.
