How to Handle Illegal Aliens?

Posted on October 18, 2005 05:11 PM by Joel Comm

Finally! After way to long, the Bush administration has finally spoken up regarding the massive influx of illegal aliens into the United States.

I have no problem with people going through the proper channels to become citizens of this great country. But I have a serious problem with people entering the country illegally and living off American taxpayers.

From today's story...

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said his department aims without exception to expel all those who enter the United States illegally.

"Our goal at DHS (Homeland Security) is to completely eliminate the 'catch and release' enforcement problem, and return every single illegal entrant, no exceptions.

"It should be possible to achieve significant and measurable progress to this end in less than a year," Chertoff told a Senate hearing.

Let's hope they actually follow through on this one.

As a resident of Arizona, this hits home. We have a rep named J.D. Hayworth who has recently introduced a comprehensive package to address illegal immigration from an enforcement perspective versus a continuous legislative perspective.

Here's the summary to his Bill here.

    It is about time.

I say we round them up... ... make them US citizens, and put them in the army, take away their Mexican citizenship, give them social security numbers ( to pay their rightful taxes ) and send them to Iraq.
