I Am the GMail King

Posted on April 9, 2005 12:18 AM by Joel Comm

Or one would think I had an endless supply of GMail accounts!

On February 9th, I announced that I had SIX (6) free GMail invites to give away.

All six were given away fairly quickly. Yet to this very day, people are STILL leaving comments on my blog saying, "I want a Gmail account. Please reply."

Hello? Anyone home? Bueller? I had six. Six. SIX! Stop asking!

Well, now I have 50 more to give away. You can reply if you want one, but there is no guarantee. It depends what kind of mood I am in.

Everyone, pl do not ask this self proclaimed KING for any gmail accounts.

Just look around and ask ur friends....someone mite definately have it ...

Do not take any obligation from this egotist !.

Hmmmmmmm! Egotist!? Seems a little harsh doesn't it. Mr. Mayor, I am not acquainted with what a "G Mail" account is ... nor why one would desire such an account? I did see your earlier posting offer of sometime back and let it pass. Are there not ISP provided email addresses? Is there not Hotmail? Is there not Yahoo? Are there not ... ooops, sorry, got a little Dickensian there. Guess I'd be open to receiving an address if I knew of the possible benefits.

    Hey Joel!

My only concern about the Google's gmail is whether this will compete for ad dollars with Google's Adsense. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on how this may affect our Adsense revenue.
