I Bought Yahoo

Posted on January 6, 2006 01:08 PM by Joel Comm

No, I didn't buy the entire company. But I did purchase some Yahoo stock last year. It appears to have been one of my better stock decisions.

Frankly, I wish I had bought more. I got in with a measly 50 shares at $18.73. Today the stock is trading at $43.25, giving me a 131% increase.

Most people would tell me to sell with that kind of increase, but I can't see the price going anywhere but up from here. Besides, with Google at $465 today, Yahoo looks pretty darned attractive!

And so I will hold. Only time will tell if it is a wise choice.
