I Love Howard Dean

Posted on June 8, 2005 01:05 PM by Joel Comm

I do. I love Howard Dean. Yes, THE Howard Dean, former Vermont Governor. Left-wing extremist. Defeated by John Kerry in 2004 Democratic Presidential Primaries. (how does one lose to John Kerry???) And now, Chairman of the Democratic National Convention. I love Howad Dean.

Why?

Because he guarantees that Democrats will continue losing major elections. Check out what this bozo said yesterday.

"You know, the Republicans are not very friendly to different kinds of people. They're a pretty monolithic party. Pretty much, they all behave the same, and they all look the same. ... It's pretty much a white Christian party, '' the former Vermont governor told a San Francisco roundtable Monday in reaction to a question about the lack of outreach to minority communities by political parties.

Racist. Bigot. Hypocrite.

I love it. God bless you, Howard Dean. And God bless America.

I stumbled onto your blog because it was highlighted Patrick Ruffini's PoliticalWire ({here) onhttp://www.patrickruffini.com/2008wire/)

and I just loved the title to this post. However, Patrick lists you as a D(emocrat), but this and the preceding post seem to indicate that you should be a R(epublican). Of course, I could be totally wrong here, but if I am not, you might want to send him an email.

    Regards

Nevermind, I must not understand how Patrick labels his items, because they all seem reversed to me.

Move along, nothing to see here but an idjit with a keyboard.

Howard Dean, an idiot? How dare you call such an idiot an idiot? HaHa. He does have a habit of putting his foot in his mouth. However, he is not the only one to do it. Sean Hannity also has a habit of saying things that could be more tactfully put. Dean does have a poibnt in some ways - are their many Republicans who TRULY know what it is like to grow up poor and struggle for years with nothing to show for it? Hannity seemed to show stupidity and ignorance the other day when he was trying to make fun of a pop music concert to end poverty when he said that to end poverty - get a job. Brilliant deduction Eienstein. But how about the MILLIONS of Americans and BILLIONS around the world who DO work hard, 60 - 80 hours a week, never see their families, never enjoy anything about their lives because all they do is work - and they STILL can't make ends meet. Single mothers who work 3 jobs and still have to live in the projects because they can't afford a real house? This is the America that Hannity can't see, won't see, because Mommy and Daddy have probably handed him everything in his life. Sometimes, it seems that Conservatives just don't even want to understand how incredibly hard it is to make it in this country. They would just rather wave flags and show fake patriotism and say God Bless America while people are starving in the streets. Sometimes hard hard work does not always show anything in the end. Sometimes the Americxan dream amounts to nothing, even when people try and try. Maybe instead of warring with liberals all of the time, Republicans could try to understand what it is like to live in someone else's shoes. (an example of the Republican's callousness is the landslide passing of the new bankruptcy bill, which favors the rich and shows few breaks for the poor - what's next - debtor's prisions?)

    Fersboo,

    Awfully self-righteous, aren't we?

  5. A BIG BLUE STATER Says:

He's the DNC Chairman and you are? Come again? What was that? Oh that's right, you're just another white man with a blog!

  6. Joel Says:

Interesting how a democrat comes to my site and spews racism. Typical. Thanks for showing your true colors "blue stater"

  7. Robert Says:

I can't portend to know "Blue Staters" true motives, but I think he was just trying to explain that you really have no room to claim you are so much better than Howard Dean when you are not in Dean's position. As for the White man comment, you are obviously a white Christian male. Sure, he probably was being sarcastic, but again I can see the PATHETIC warring of Conservatives vs. Liberals in this post. Give it up already. We need to stop the next American civil war before it happens, and arrogance on either side is only going to lead to more hostility.....
