Ok, so it's February 18th. But the snow is blanketing the ground in the Oklahoma City area and it finally feels just a little bit like Christmas. Well, winter at least.
Just two days we were enjoying temperatures nearing 70 degrees and sunshine. The cold front blew in and the temperature dropped 30 + degrees in a matter of minutes.
Last night, the sleet began. Blankets of ice covered the road.
This morning I awoke to a couple inches of the white stuff.
And they said winter would never come.
Of course, the Punxatawny Phil predicted this. All hail the mighty Groundhog.
Time to get out the tree, deck the halls, etc... eh, maybe not.
Well, one can dream of a White Christmas, can't he?

I also woke up to a white stuff outside my front door.
It was just the sand trap on the 15th green. I won't mention the temp was 81 degrees today. I couldn't resist. Florida is just a great place to be in winter.
You should bring the family for a fun and sun break.

Revelling in the "white stuff" in Oklahoma City eh! I'm an hour east of Toronto, Canada and it's 21 degrees F. tonight with just a dusting of snow on the ground. Have to admit that I'd rather be standing in a sandtrap at the 15th green just outside Kimberly's front door with my sand wedge in hand though, hmmm! You don't think you might have jinxed the local weather situation a few days back when commenting on T-shirt and shorts conditions being winter do you Joel? I seem to recall you ending with "bring it on" or somethng to that effect. ;-)

isnt the weather a funny old thing. A across here in south of England they are saying that it is the driest it has been in 10 years,with hose pipe bans and rationing on the cards. Its a very strange world.
