This is hilarious! The wackos at Earth Liberation Front (E.L.F.), the criminals that are vandalizing SUVs and buildings in order to liberate the earth from the clutches of corporate greed are at it again. This time, their zany hijinks backfired.
SULTAN, Wash. -- An animal rights group's plan to free 10,000 mink from a farm turned deadly after many of the emancipated mustelids became cannibals while others went on a carnivorous feeding frenzy.About 9,000 of the freed mink have been returned to Roesler Brothers Fur Farm since the Aug. 25 break-in, but keeping them alive has been a challenge.
Normally, only siblings are caged together, but workers cannot readily determine which of the recaptured mink are related, said Kate Roesler.
``The mink are fine when they're litter mates together, but when they're not they're quite vicious and they're cannibals,'' Roesler said. ``They do eat each other, and that's what we're battling.''
Days after the break-in, starving mink attacked a menagerie of exotic birds, a flock of chickens and even a Labrador retriever.
A few mink have been seen recently eating fish along local rivers and one turned up last week at a fruit stand on the edge of this town about 40 miles northeast of Seattle.
About 1,000 are still missing.
The Animal Liberation Front claimed responsibility and the FBI is investigating. No arrests have been reported.
Fur Commission USA is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions of those responsible.
What a hoot that they attempted to free these poor, poor mink and the creatures ended up canabalizing each other. Now they won't make for very good coats, will they?
These nuts at E.L.F. need to be caught and tried as TERRORISTS. Enough of this ridiculous far-left wing garbage. Real environmentalists need to take these bozos to task and distance themselves if they want to retain any credibility.
Oh, and watch out for the coat in the photo. It may be rabid. Grrrrrrr....

Oh, get off your high-horse. Really! You act as if someone has asked you to stop eating hamburgers or something.
Granted, these folks did something irresponsible. The minks weren't introduced into areas where mink re-population is needed, their efforts turned a community upside-down.
Even so, it still doesn't make mink farm owners good people, they're still just greedy bastards wasting the lives of animals.
These bozos use animals to line their pockets, animals that we don't eat are dying as a fashion statement instead of a natural death.
It's pure greed and furriers should be outlawed or taxed out of business.
A leather coat (an animal we eat) works just as well as a fur coat does for keeping somebody warm, there are no excuses in this day and age for the use of a real fur coat. A fake one will look just as good, if you're just into the looks of fur.
We have a lot of deer-hunting in this area where I live. They aren't shot just for sport, they're for dinner. Why not use the whole deer?
The deerskin would work well as clothing.
I guess some people are just too vain, they've got to have the "status symbol" of a fur coat to show off.
