It's a sad day for Mickey Mouse. It appears that the Disney company has agreed to finance a Michael Moore film. It is going to be a Bush-bashing documentary that will supposedly demonstrate how Osama Bin Laden was enriched by the Bushes. Disney, via their subsidiary, Miramax, has agreed to pour millions into the production costs of "Fahrenheit 9/11". Moore is a socialist whose "films" (if you can call them that) have been debunked and deconstructed by most thinking people. Initially, Mel Gibson was approached to finance this film through his production studio and he turned it down flatly. I am amazed that a company such as Disney is now taking part in this fiasco. I am certain a boycott is to follow. Here is a link to the rumblings that are already starting. It's been true for many years now... the "Walt" is truly gone from Disney. :-(

come on Joel, everyone knows the Bush family has been in bed with the Bin-Ladens for years. there is no "supposedly" about it. The CIA funded and trained the Taliban (not the first terrorists we've funded). Of course it is only coincidence that Georgie Sr. was once member of the CIA and is now employed by the largest weapons supplier in America, Carlyle. And that he and his family stand to gain immensely from the supposed war for Iraqi Freedom because of this. it's also mere coincidence that as soon as American plans for an oil pipeline to the Caspian Oil Reserves fall flat, an opportune terrorist attack occurs allowing us free reign in Afghanistan. Also mere coincidence that on the day of September 11, 2001, the man who the FBI now claims funded the attack, was in the US having breakfast with the head of the FBI and was allowed to leave with no questions. Also strange is how standard procedures for airplane hijackings were ignored on this day only. Odd how Ascroft and others in Washington had stopped flying commercially shortly beforehand. Inter-FBI memos on the terrorists in flight-training mysteriously "lost". Oh and did I forget to mention that the Bin Laden family were investors in the same Carlyle Corporation that Bush Sr. now works for? these investments were not terminated until several weeks after september 11. It also strikes me as odd that THERE HAS BEEN NO INVESTIGATION, official or otherwise into 9-11. that's right, STILL no investigation. this is unprecedented in a disaster of this size. The Titanic, The JFK assasination, and Pearl Harbor were investigated, why not September 11? what is the Bush administration hiding? Of course we can't forget about the Bush family track record; Grandfather Prescott Bush's Nazi investments, Bush Senior's Iran-Contra scandal, and of course George Junior's mysterious ousting from the military, and his unprecedented election by Supreme Court. What about the Patriot Act? The only act to my knowledge ever passed without a single member of Congress being allowed to read its contents (this was published in the Washington Times.) In case you are in the dark about this, the first thing the Patriot Act does is establish that an act of terrorism is now defined as any act that is illegal. It then procedes to declare that anyone being investigated under "terrorist" charges can be searched or bugged without a warrant and imprisoned without trial. That's right, AMERICAN CITIZENS CAN NOW BE LEGALLY IMPRISONED INDEFINITELY WITHOUT A TRIAL. If I'm not mistaken, this is in blatant opposition to the American Constitution which states otherwise. Unfortunately, this has already been done. Two AMERICAN CITIZENS, Jose Padilla and Yaser Esam Hamdi, are being held by the military. Neither has been charged of a crime and neither is being allowed legal counsel or access to a trial even though a judge ordered it. They may well be guilty of "harboring terrorist support" but if so, why can't they defend themselves through due process? in the old America, we were gauranteed that. We all know about Ashcroft's desire to put anyone declared as an "enemy combatant" into a US concentration camp. Sadly, these camps already exist, with many non-US citizens currently being held indefinitely. This is the portrait of the new America- with Corporate Oil interests in Iraq firmly secured as quickly as possible, law and order, and medical care come second. Even our own troops are only allowed 2 bottles of water PER DAY and many claim their only objetive there is to protect the oil! This is the new America in which animal rights groups have been labelled "terrorist organizations" while the economy continues to plummet into darkness and the people running the circus get richer and richer. Please do yourself and your country a favor and before you dismiss everything I've said, research it for yourself. Walt Disney has been dead for a long time Joel and Disney's Days of producing quality animated features are long dead too. Now that the final nail has been put in the coffin of this once great nation, it would seem to me that you have more to be concerned about than the legacy of a cartoon mouse.

You said it Josh!... We seriously... as American's... See Nothing WRONG with the fact that Bin Laden's Brother was Eatting Breakfast with Bush SENIOR in a business meeting on the morning or 9/11? Bin Laden Money at least HELP FUNDED Bush seniors ability to BUY Oil companies years ago.... The Bush family is all business money and Oil.... George W. Prostitues our country when he tries to Tap into Oil In Alaska... and put us in a hole financially so we can go to war with bad bad bad Iraq... over weapons that were never found... Hmmmm... But there are the big OIL FIELDS....Now those I see....! Grow a brain folks.... Your being schmoogled by a rich Oil Guy. Who hangs with the Bin Ladens in his wonderful Texas Land. See what Bin Ladens Family owns in Texas and then tell me its all out of line someone should QUESTION the politics at the White house. Remember... When asked by a student what the White house Looked Like... George W. Said quote..."Well it's white."
