Misery Hates Company

Yesterday morning, M told me she didn't feel well. Around 11 am, I realized that I didn't feel too good either. By 12 noon I left the office and wasn't sure if I was going to make it home without getting sick.

The rest of the day can be described as pure, utter misery. The two of us were incredibly ill with the stomach flu. I think it is safe to say that it was one of the absolute worst days of my life.

You know you are sick when there is absolutely nothing you want to do more than be unconcious. I couldn't get comfortable in any position. The nausea would not depart. I think I groaned for hours on end. Yeah, I am a big wuss when I get sick.

Today, I sit in bed blogging, feeling MUCH better. I'm going to take it easy and rest. I've got a DVD in the player and getting ready to sit back and watch.

My sympathies to anyone else who catches this virus that is going around. Not fun. Not fun at all.
