Moving

You would think moving websites from one location to another would be an easy task.

Think again.

I have decided that it is time to get my webservers OUT of my office. For the past 3 years, I have been leasing my own T1 lines and hosting thousands of visitors daily to my sites. I love the traffic, but I hate the side-effects.

1) If the servers go down, guess who needs to go reboot them? And guess how frustrating it is when something goes wrong and I am out of town?

2) The two T1 lines are costly! I can get my sites hosted elsewhere much cheaper.

3) The servers heat my office more than is comfortable. Since I share an office building (and a thermostat) with other people, climate control is a nuisance.

So now we are in the moving phase. Much thanks to Linn and Scott for seeing it through. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and the move should be complete... soon.
