Off the top of my head, here is what I would love to see take place during Bush's second term...
Finish the war in Iraq within the first year. Level Fallujah if absolutely necessary. We MUST show strength and send a message that we are serious about taking out terrorists before they take us out.
Mr. President, it is time to CLOSE our borders to illegals! There are over 20 million illegal aliens living off our system, not paying their fair share. We MUST stop the flow of illegals or America will cease to be America. No country can stand without borders.
Three new Supreme Court Justices that will be strict constructionists in interpreting the law, not those who would legislate from the bench, ala Ruth Bader Ginsberg and her ilk.
On that note, it's time to overturn Roe v. Wade. Abortion is crushing the soul of America.
More tax relief. In fact, let's put an end to the IRS once and for all. I am in support of a National Sales Tax which would be entirely consumption based. I work for more money and I know better than government how to spend it.
Drilling for domestic oil. I am all for preserving wildlife, but when it comes at the sacrifice of being held hostage to foreign nations who have oil, I have to say buh-bye to the spotted owl.
Find Osama Bin Laden. Subject him to endless hours of MTV.
Marriage must ALWAYS remain defined as a sacred union between one man and one woman. Period.
Social Security is failed and it is time to pull the weeds. Privatization of social security is a must.
School vouchers. Why should I have to pay property taxes to support public schools and not get a tax break on the tuition for my kid's private school tuition?
The sun is shining. Go get 'em W.

I like that list. Those would be GREAT changes for our country!
Joel, I would agree with you on nearly every point that you make about a second term. I am getting so sick of hearing all this fooey about "You have to reach out to us and treat us lovingly with open arms because the country is too divided!" (So say the DIMocrats.) The reason the country is so divided is because of them! Were they trying to unite us and reach out to conservatives when they called our President a liar and a thug and a killer? Such hypocrisy.
You'll get no argument from me on that, Gary! They also compared Bush to Hitler as I recall. Not exactly what I would call "reaching across the aisle". More like a "drive-by shooting across the aisle!"
Illegals are often not getting their fair share, either. They often work for wages that would be considered illegal for Americans.
Also, if you haven't noticed, despite his rhetoric, George Bush has never taken a hard stand against illegals. Too many of his business pals have pressured him to keep things the way they are.

I agree with your comments regarding Bush and illegal immigrants. It seems like the "third rail" jumped from Social Security to illegal immigration this election cycle. It is definitely an area that needs to be addressed by the President.
I have an idea about how privatization of Social Security might work:
A worker could have an account ("ISSA") like an IRA-- choose his own brokerage (or other financial institution(s)) at which to hold it, choose whichever investment vehicle(s) (except certain high-risk ones) he wanted, and pay the brokerage fees for making the investment transactions in the account. However, the brokerage would merely be holding the funds for the Social Security Administration of the government. The worker would retire and start collecting Social Security, and take distributions, just like from his IRA. The government would still continue to calculate the amount to which the worker would be entitled every month, and the SSA (through the brokerage) would pay it out. There could be special rules for a worker who bankrupted his ISSA, like by buying all stocks that went bankrupt-- there would be some formula whereby his Social Security check would be reduced proportional to his losses.
