My Xbox 360 Has Arrived

Posted on March 7, 2006 10:59 PM by Joel Comm

I am extremely impressed with the folks at TextPayMe.com. Not only is their "send funds by cell phone" service ultra-cool, but they have made good on their free Xbox 360 offer in record time!

As you might recall, they had an offer where you would win an XBox 360 if you referred 36 people to use the service before March 18. I managed to have 36 referrals within a week. They emailed me and congratulated me for my accomplishment, and told me my XBox 360 would ship as soon as they confirmed my address.

It's less than a week later and my XBox 360 has arrived!

I went to the store tonight to look for a game to play. The selection is terrible! And as it turns out, you have to purchase a $99 hard drive in order to play regular XBox games on the unit.

So at the moment, I have a heavy paperweight of a game machine. But I did order a game online and hope to receive it soon. Then I can actually try out my new toy.

Anyhow, thank you, TextPayMe!
