I've not been a fan of American Idol, but since my wife and daughter watch it I am considering enjoying this season.
They are currently in the audition episodes in which anyone can demonstrate just how untalented they are.
Well, here's a guy that is already making a buzz and looks to be a YouTube sensation.
His name is Larry Platt and he is a 62-year old retired General from Georgia.
The name of the song is "Pants on the Ground"
You've got to check this out.
I have a feeling this is not the last we'll hear of General Platt or his lecture to kids who think showing underwear is actually stylish.
Obviously, Platt is too old for the show. But that didn't stop him from becoming a pop culture icon.
Way to go General!

This was very entertaining but I hope it gets the young kids to "Get Their Pants Off the Ground".
They look like a fool with their pants on the ground and their hats sideways.
I think Age is going to be a barrier for sure anyway i just want to wish him luck :)
I am a Teacher/Librarian in inner city Dallas so Pants on the Ground is very relevent. I just love this song! I bet the Idol judges were singing it in their hotels. I wish General Platt much success and applaud his message.
