Peerflix - Trade DVDs

Posted on August 11, 2005 02:40 PM by Joel Comm

Netflix, Blockbuster, Wal-Mart and many others have entered the online DVD rental game. It is a very competitive market with each merchant bringing something different to the table.

Today, I ran across a novel approach to DVD viewing. Peerflix.com invites you to TRADE DVDs instead of renting them. It's a pretty spiffy idea, and they have a free DVD offer which is very attractive. Here's what they offer:

- Risk-free trial today.
- Free DVD on account activation.
- No monthly membership. No commitments. Pay as you go.
- Unlimited DVDs.

Looks like a great way to see more movies for less money! Check out Peerflix.com and let me know what you think.

http://www.superborrownet.com has a similar approach, but it is not only DVD's. It is anything.

You might want to checkout SwitchDiscs.com

They are Free and you can trade DVDs, CDs & Video Games.

I've used both and had a lot of problems with peerflix(broken dvds, no customer support, site not working, etc.) so I checked out SwitchDiscs and they are not only better but FREE.

So I would suggest trying them both out.
