Here we are knee-deep in the political season.
Who will be the next President of the United States?
Regardless of the results, you can rest assured that the political discourse will not cease.
I used to spend a good deal of time discussing politics online.
But I had a hard time finding sites where people would not flame each other.
Political Fever is a good site to debate the issues.
The moderators do a good job of keeping things under control and allow people to participate regardless of their beliefs.
There is even a forum dedicated to one-on-one debates in a structured environment. Cool stuff.
So who is it going to be?
McCain?
Obama?
Clinton?
Let the debate begin!
It is either Clinton Or Obama, because McCain is not going to win, because no one wants another Bush like minded person.
As much as I don't like McCain, I believe both Barack Hussein Osama and Hitlary both would be 10 times worse than McCain, I don't like getting into arguments about it, but both Hitlary and Obama would try to restrict and tax the internet alot more than McCain would. The demoncrats in congress have already tried to censure Rush Limbaugh as though he were a senator when clearly, he's a US citizen with an opinion.
To put this into context, Rush Limbaugh coined the phrase "phony soldiers" to refer to people who lie about their military service to gain fake credibility (which is a crime by the way), and they used that fake credibility to regurgitate the rhetoric that was spewed by dingy harry that "This war is lost".
Think about this, if you were to start a project and leave it unfinished would you make any money? No, you wouldn't, and that's what it'll be like if we stopped fighting the terrorists, the goal of defeating the terrorists wouldn't be met, and eventually, if we stop fighting them where they are now, we will be fighting them on our soil, and we won't have any choice in the matter, we will have to fight them because they won't back off on their own. I will say that I am ashamed of Bush's immigration policy, but he kept us safe through fighting the war on terror. To put this into perspective, how many terrorist attacks have there been on American soil since 9/11? The answer is zero, and it's because President Bush has been fighting the war on terror in spite of the opposition.
That's just my two cents.
His name is "Barack Obama" not "Barama" or "Obama Barack"
As much as the "party" line has disappointed all of us in the last 20 years, it seems the "republican" philosophy of spending less, personal freedom, and allowing people to support themselves has been thrown out the window in favor of war, oil friends, and insider bid for huge government contracts. If the party "head" isn't going to take action along the party lines anyway, we might at well vote for the guy we would most like to hang out with.
