Rent My Forehead

Posted on January 11, 2005 04:54 PM by Joel Comm

A friend pointed out an incredible thing to me today. There is a guy on eBay who is renting space on his forehead. HumanAdSpace.com is one person's 15-minutes of fame.

Basically, for a fee this guy will tattoo a company logo or website url on his forehead for 30 days. He is getting a lot of media attention and is actually going to be appearing on Fox News Live. As of this writing, the bid for the ebay auction is at $22,000!

Advertising on people is nothing new. Pro Sport Ads proposed selling ads on people for sporting events back in 2003. Here is a CNN article discussing Renting Foreheads back in Feburary 2003.

Now, some savvy entrepreneur will see the opportunity to build an army of foreheads to sell ad space on. You can go to ebay and purchase the domain name RentMyForehead.com.
