Rolling with the Changes

Change.

It's the one constant we can depend on.

Moving to Colorado has been a big change for me and my family.

And it has not been without it's share of stress!

The stress took a toll on me and I have felt physically depleted. In fact, I cancelled my appearances at JV Alert Live and StomperNet this weekend due to my physical condition.

Whether its a virus or just pure exhaustion, I knew that I had to make some changes for the good of my physical and mental health... and to take care of my family who are also going through a time of adjustment.

I woke up this morning and was greeted by blue skies and a clear view of the front range. It was fantastic!

The temperature was warming up and the snow was melting off my deck very quickly. I told my wife that at this rate much of the snow in the back yard would be gone before the end of the day.

And then... the weather changed.

My wife and daughter went out for lunch just after noon. The wind had already been blowing quite hard even though the sky was partly cloudy.

All of a sudden, thick clouds full of moisture rushed our way, the winds picked up to gale force and the snow came down.

Yes, it was a bonafide blizzard!

Visibility became a thing of the past and my wife told me that it was nearly impossible to see the colors on the traffic signals.

What started as the most beautiful day since we arrived last week quickly became the most intense weather day we've seen. And I gotta say, it was pretty darned awesome. :-)

Changes. As those great philosophers of the 20th century, REO Speedwagon, once said...

"You Gotta Roll with the Changes"

Amen, Kevin Cronin. Amen.
