Last week, I told you I had my Squidoo makeover.
And now I am getting traffic to my web sites because of it!
Yes, there IS Search Engine benefit to having a Squidoo site... and it's totally free!
So WHY WOULDN'T YOU set one up?!?!
Many people have emailed me and said that are confused about what to do, so I am going to make it simple.
Step by step...
1) Go to my Squidoo site and put YOUR link on my page.
Scroll down to the area that says "Show off your blogs with AdSense"
At the bottom of the section, you'll see a button that says "Add to this List". Click it! The rest is self-explanatory.
2) Then, sign up for your own Squidoo account at:

And then do what he says!
4) Now that you have your own Squidoo account, sign the guestbook at the bottom of my Squidoo page. Your picture will show and I'd like to know you were there!
This is going to be the last time I focus on Squidoo as I've proven to you in one week that you can start from scratch and build a site that can have an impact. I'll continue to use my Squidoo site, but I'm moving on to teach you some other stuff next.

What would you recommend as an alternative to adsense...as you can guess I've been banned from adsense and to date no one has been able to help me get another account ( I've even asked google - they said no )...I'm open to any/all suggestions...I'm counting on the old adage...'where there's a will there's a way'...don't let me down Joel...

I had written out a longer comment but I lost it when I tried to post (doh!) any way this is the short version:
I've had great success ranking for keywords by using tons of different web 2.0 properties. I've found that if I make a quick search for a term I wish to rank for I can see which sites google prefers for that niche, sometimes it'll be soulcast, youtube, tumblr or even blogspot. So I just quickly register a new account and post some decent content and most of the time it'll rank quickly by itself. In some cases I've had 5+ entries for a search term all on the first page of google which generates crazy amounts of targetted traffic!
