Ok, so Michael Moore has had his day in the sun. Fahrenheit 911 infiltrated movie houses across America and succeeded in persuading a segment of the population with incredible distortions and outright lies. Now, the Kerry campaign and Democrats have forgotten that the First Amendment means free speech for EVERYONE. This would include Sinclair Broadcasting and their plans to air a documentary exposing John Kerry for who he really is.
The documentary is called Stolen Honor: Wounds that Never Heal. Sinclair Broadcasting owns 62 stations nationwide and will be airing this program in prime time October 21-24, 2004.
"Stolen Honor" investigates how John Kerry's actions during the Vietnam era impacted the treatment of American soldiers and POWs. Using John Kerry's own words, the documentary juxtaposes John Kerry's actions with the words of veterans who were still in Vietnam when John Kerry was leading the anti-war movement.
This documentary is going to attempt to set the record straight on John Kerry's record so that America knows the truth about a person that is running for the highest elected office in the land.
Democrats and the Kerry campaign have tried to silence Sinclair Broadcasting by initimidation and screaming "foul". Of course, they were just fine with Fahrenheit 911 being shown at the national conference of the Teacher's Union, among other places. What goes around comes around. John Kerry can try to hide from his past, but it is coming back to haunt him.
According to USA Today, these are the cities that will be able to view Stolen Honor. For those who aren't in a broadcasting city, DVDs are available from the Stolen Honor web site.

If "Stolen Poop" is like your above post it deserves ignomious disregard.
I wonder how else someone can protest a dishonorable war to get it stopped without doing it during wartime? It took considerable courage to be a protester of the war at that time. More so than for those who went to Canada, who obtained roll-over deferments and those who went into the NR unit knowing full well then their chances to going to Vietman were very low to nil.
Your comparisons about where F911 was shown are ridiculous. The teacher's union gave permission for F911 to be shown, it is an independent organization, and the theaters that showed it are not regulated entities AND they are not showing Moore' film in the homes of the potential viewers. There is a big difference here. As I underestand it Kerry does not claim to have the film barred, but wants equal time to dispute what is a propaganda film unleashed just days before the vote by known Repug partisans.
Why don't you give all the unvarnished facts?

And so begin the sour grapes.
I agree with the Mayor. The NEA is tilted WAY to the left in their politics. It was totally inappropriate for them to show F911 at the convention. If they were going to be "fair", they would now solicit the opportunity to show FahrenHYPE 911. Ain't gonna happen.
I intend to watch Stolen Honor with an open mind. Whether or not it is a propaganda piece remains to be seen. Have you seen the it thugge?
It is my understanding that Kerry was invited to be interviewed for Stolen Honor and he declined.

If a liberal media company ordered its affiliates to show an anti-Bush documementary, I'm sure you'd be complaining, too.
Sinclair is free to show the program and I'm free to refuse to buy products from Sinclair's advertisers.
I really doubt the documentary will make a difference. I think positions are pretty hardened by now, and it's mostly about each side's turnout at the polls.

Pssst.. the liberal media IS an anti-Bush documentary. They have been for a long time. And yes, I do complain. Turnabout is fair play.
I tend to agree with you though. Turnout is going to be the key.

Sinclair, was the broadcasting group that ordered its ABC affiliates not to air Ted Koppel's Nightline show in which the names of the U.S. soldiers who died in Iraq were read as their photographs were shown on the screen.
Talk about stealing honor. One thing to remember is the airwaves are owned by the public.
The Federal Communications Commission at one time not only severely limited station ownership, but also had a fairness doctrine and a political attack rule.
In August 1987, the FCC repealed the Fairness Doctrine, claiming that it was unconstitutional, although the Supreme Court had ruled unanimously in 1969 that the Fairness Doctrine was not only constitutional but essential to democracy.

Since the media has declared to assist the muslim extremists by joining in a fight to bring down the presidency of George w. bush, we have seen the media exposed light roaches when you turn on the lights in a dark room.
Somehow they have used the influence on their addictive but regular common viewers to undermine all efforts to blind the common american to see president Bush and the Military as the enemy of freedom. Not only that, but also set a hiped up and miraged fantasy stage to make America see a Traitor, an anti-defense, and COWARD, (john Kerry) as a qualified and decent citizen for the next president of the United states. The sad part, it seems America is believing it. Now it is time for America to see the media as it was intended to be since the begining of it's foundation. STOLEN HONOR. This is probably the last effort that some few real americans have to remove the scales on all the Americans eyes, and to expose the sheep in wolves clothing, John Kerry.
God save us all!

I need to make an interesting point here, Dave A. If you listen to yourself, you sound like a fanatical extremist. Give me a break - you make it sound like anyone who disagrees with the Bush administration is being brainwashed by the media and liberals in some sort of conspiracy with "sheep in wolves clothing" - you act like the Democrats are staging some sort of horrible conspiracy for the Presidency. Yet any liberal who says the same about the Bush administration - conspiracy theory you downgrade and ridicule, yet you says the Democrats and media have a conspiracy? What an utterly hypocritical statement. You people really need to get ylour head out of your butt, live in reality, grow up, and stop the idiotic banter about how horrible Democrats are and how great Republicans are. BOTH PARTIES ARE CORRUPT. Deal with it and GET OVER IT!!
