The Lifeblood of Your Business

Posted on July 3, 2010 1:35 PM

Have you ever been spread so thin that you felt like one little pat of butter in an entire bread factory? There are so many things to do, yet there is only so much time, money, and resources to go around. I've felt this way many times. And when it happens, it should act as a signal that you need to prioritize and refocus your efforts on what is most important. Continue Reading

How To Develop an Effective Advertising Campaign

Posted on June 22, 2010 11:50 AM

(Written by guest contributor Fletcher Groeneman) It can be said that consumers are persuaded to purchase by their perception of the product and not by the actual product itself. What promotes the idea that every need can be satisfied with the goods or services from a given company? Effective and creative advertising is a skill that every corporation desires yet few succeed in mastering. What makes some ads so successful and others just pathetic? A... Continue Reading

Organize Your Creative Files

Posted on May 31, 2010 2:50 PM

Perhaps it is the way creatives are wired or the difficulties of collaborative projects, but too often creatives have a file management system that is.....well, "creative." Organization is often not one of our strengths. Yet keeping advertisements, stock photography, designs, proofs, versions, illustrations, and production files organized will maximize your efficiency and your ability to collaborate with all the members of your team. Originally titled "What Google Never Told You About Making Money with AdSense", the ebook came out in January 2005 with just 66 pages. Today it is in its fourth edition and comes in at over 230 pages. I still bring in around $500/day with AdSense. But Google is just ONE way... Continue Reading

Posted on December 9, 2009 12:32 PM

iPhone apps are all the rage right now, but having a great idea and developing a successful iPhone application are completely different things altogether. The mobile application development process is quite a bit different from a normal software development process and many of these differing factors must be considered as early as the conceptual phases of development. The objective of this article is to provide the reader a process for taking an application from... Continue Reading

Google AdSense Breaking News

Posted on January 18, 2007 1:17 PM

People have been asking me three questions about the AdSense program, and their new terms of service and AdSense support team have now clarified all of these issues. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Question 1) Does Google allow other ads to run on the same page as AdSense Ads? Kontera

Posted on September 21, 2005 12:33 AM

Google AdSense ads have become ubiquitous. It's hard to find many sites that aren't running their contextual text advertisements. However, there ARE other options available for site publishers wishing to monetize their web pages. I recently came across a site called Kontera. They have a different approach to contextual advertising. Rather than display ads directly on the site, their engine looks at a web page and highlights certain keywords on the page by placing a... My friend from down-under, Sean D'Souza, has done a vast amount of research into the human mind. His site, Psychotactics, contains a wealth of free information that is beneficial to anyone who wishes to sell a product or service. But his information is also useful for discovering how to strengthen your relationships. Sean offers... Continue Reading

Swift Boat Veterans slamdunk Kerry

Posted on October 13, 2004 11:38 PM

The Swift Boat Vets have two new advertisements which are due to run during Monday Night Football on October 18th. They are incredibly persuasive and might even break through the hard shell of some Kerry diehards. At the very least, they will push some more of those "undecideds" to the Bush column. Well done SwiftVets. Thank you for having the courage to stand up and call Kerry on the carpet. And thank you for your... Continue Reading
