Disclaimers and Copyright Violations

Posted on December 14, 2011 8:35 AM

It has come to my attention that some of my digital materials are being illegally resold online. People are setting up websites containing my complete sales letter (mostly of AdSense Secrets) along with all graphics and videos, and selling them with a link to their paypal account. I have been sending DMCA Takedown notices to Internet service providers as I become aware of rogue sites they are hosting. However, they continue to pop up. This... Continue Reading

If you've read KaChing or my other materials, you would know that I am a fan of making money SOPS. SOPS? That's an acronym for: Selling Other People's Stuff Affiliate programs have been around for fifteen years now, and I've been participating in them ever since Amazon launched their program many years ago. Can you imagine using the word "blog" ten years ago? Very few people would have had any idea what you were talking about. The word doesn't really roll of your tongue. Today, almost everyone knows what a blog is. And millions of people have their own blog. Blogging is a great form of self-expression. But it's also a great way to generate some revenue online. The biggest problem many bloggers have is getting started with... Continue Reading

10 Common Internet Marketing Mistakes

Posted on November 24, 2010 11:40 AM

(Written by guest contributor Dan Nickerson) In preparation for writing this article I thought I would look for a great quote about learning from your mistakes. You know what...that was a mistake, because honestly there are a ton of them online. They all boil down to one basic principle: You can learn far more from your mistakes than from your successes. Did You Forget Something? Try Pagellan!

Posted on November 23, 2010 10:00 PM

You are probably catching on to the fact that I am not promoting many products these days. That's because most products and services coming out are not worth promoting. When you see the proliferation of traffic products, social media products, list building products and all the other rehashed same-old, same-old coming out, I'm sure you'll agree that there aren't many original ideas out there right now. So when I DO have something to share with... Continue Reading

The Internet Marketing World Cup - A Rebuttal

Posted on September 16, 2010 9:24 PM

The following email was sent to me by one of the creators of The Internet Marketing World Cup. I told them I would consider updating my previous blog entry based on what he shared with me. After further consideration, I thought I would just let IMWC's point-of-view speak for itself. With that said, here is the entire email sent to me. It is thoughtful and I admire the IMWC team for proactively contacting me and... Continue Reading

The Internet Marketing World Cup - What's the Score?

Posted on August 26, 2010 10:33 AM

I received an email solicitation today to take part in an alleged competition that is due to take place starting in October. It's called (brace yourself...) "The Internet Marketing World Cup" (goooooooooalllll!) It is likely you will be hearing more about this in the future so I thought it would be interesting to dissect it and share some thoughts. The Affiliate Dating Game

Posted on July 20, 2010 10:53 AM

(Written by guest contributor Andrew Albritton) There are thousands of advertisers looking for good-fit publishers to not just promote but successfully generate leads and sales on a pay-for-performance basis. Unfortunately for the advertisers, they are outnumbered by publishers actively generating considerable commissions. Not unlike The Dating Game, attracting and successfully courting top publishers is not as easy as it sounds. In working with many advertisers on a regular basis and being approached by many more... Pace Yourself For Success

I've been online since 1995. That feels like a ridiculously long time. I can remember when programs were written in Basic and games came on floppy disks that held less information than the memory card I now put in my camera. Continue Reading

Effective Conference Strategies

Posted on June 24, 2010 12:04 PM

(Written by guest contributor Brian Means) Attending conferences is a great thing to do for your business. However, it's easy to get in the bad habit of over-commitment, attending too many conferences when you don't even have a solid game plan for attending one. Too many people do not have a clear end in mind when attending conferences. You need to create a strategy for your conference season. Continue Reading

Set Realistic Goals

Posted on June 8, 2010 10:45 AM

(Written by guest contributor Dan Nickerson) Don't you just hate the word "resolution"? A resolution is a decision to do something or to behave in a certain manner, but I honestly think they should redefine the word to mean "something you plan on breaking." Continue Reading

Here's Why You Don't Have a Successful Online Business

Posted on March 30, 2010 8:58 AM

I've got a question for you. Please raise your hand if you sincerely wish to have a successful online business. Now keep your hand up if you have achieved this goal. Odds are most of the hands just went down. Why is that? It's not for a lack of quality material. Whether you have read my books or acquired material from other sources, you are probably pretty clear on the "how" to make money on... Continue Reading
