Stop Struggling with Your Nature: How to Be Productive, Profitable, and Happy

Posted on August 11, 2010 1:16 PM

(Written by guest contributor Ray Edwards) Have you ever noticed that over the years, you tend to do pretty much the same things? If you're a reader, you remain one; if you're a writer, you tend to write; if you're a procrastinator, you tend to keep procrastinating, and so forth. Continue Reading

Professional Speakers Cursing From the Stage

Posted on March 13, 2010 12:00 AM

While viewing my Twitter stream, I encountered a tweet from an associate that included an expletive. We're talking the F-bomb. I've heard this person speak before and I was reminded of how often he cursed in a keynote before thousands of people. While I have great respect for this indivdual and what he has accomplished, I couldn't help but wonder if he knew how much of his audience he was alienating. I put out a... Continue Reading

The Dark Side of Internet Marketing

Posted on February 1, 2010 8:57 AM

WARNING: Today's post is going to rattle cages and put a spotlight on a potentially dark side of Internet marketing. Yeah, I'm probably going to tick some people off. That's life. I'm more concerned with speaking the truth. This is #2 in a series called The Truth About Internet Marketing. Part one was called "The Long Form Sales Letter. And disregard the bizarre attitudes of department stores and other merchants that feel it unsafe to wish anyone anything but "Happy Holidays". Jesus Christ was... Continue Reading

Six: The Mark Unleashed

Posted on September 15, 2004 1:27 AM

After the somewhat scathing replies I got regarding my review of the Christian film, Gone, I am somewhat reluctant to step up to the plate again. Regardless (or irregardless if you want to annoy people), I will now attempt to convey my thoughts on a film I viewed today. Six: The Mark Unleashed is a futuristic end-times thriller focusing on the coming one-world government and the ubiquitous "mark of the beast" which must be taken... Continue Reading

America Bless God

Posted on July 4, 2004 3:30 PM

The 4th of July. Independence Day, 2004. Time to barbeque and enjoy fireworks with family. But how many of us pause to take in the true significance of this holiday? How many of us remember the freedoms that so many died for? How many recall the courage of our Founding Fathers who risked their very lives in order to follow that which God had called them to do? America. A city on a hill where... Continue Reading
