"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." - William Arthur Ward How often do we gripe about the way things are in the world? How often do we complain about bad things that have happened to us? And how often do we lament that things in our lives should be different? If you are anything like me, the answer is likely to be "way too often." The... Continue Reading

Growing up with the Muppets, I did not hesitate to buy this DVD. After watching 30 minutes of it with my 10 year-old daughter and wife, we turned it off in disgust. My daughter said, "This is NOT the Wizard of Oz". And my wife and I repeatedly exchanged glances as we could not believe the inappropriate humor that was laced hroughout this movie. Jokes about being sexy... jokes about nipples... jokes that do NOT... Continue Reading

I am truly puzzled by the celebrity status of the major network newscasters. I NEVER watch the major networks and can barely tell you who the anchors are, let alone what importance they have in America. From what I can tell, Dan Rather got in a heap of trouble over a story during the Election cycle. And Tom Brokaw is retiring. For some reason, people give a rip. These people are little more than talking... Continue Reading
