If you've read KaChing or my other materials, you would know that I am a fan of making money SOPS.
SOPS?
That's an acronym for:
Selling
Other
People's
Stuff
Affiliate programs have been around for fifteen years now, and I've been participating in them ever since Amazon launched their program many years ago. Continue Reading

I'm pretty happy with the revenues the ad units on my websites generate every month. I'd be a lot happier though with the revenues that Richard Rosenblatt's websites receive every month. Continue Reading

There's a very disturbing trend taking place in the Internet marketing world. I am specifically referring to the Infoproduct "make money online" niche. I've had one foot in this market for the past few years, but I am increasingly dismayed by what I see happening. I say "one foot" because my products and services are very diverse and most are not in the IM niche. However, it's time someone came forward to draw a line... Continue Reading

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night with such a great business idea that you sprang out of bed and made a mad dash for a pen and paper to write everything down as fast as you could? Continue Reading

(Written by guest contributor Andrew Albritton) There are thousands of advertisers looking for good-fit publishers to not just promote but successfully generate leads and sales on a pay-for-performance basis. Unfortunately for the advertisers, they are outnumbered by publishers actively generating considerable commissions. Not unlike The Dating Game, attracting and successfully courting top publishers is not as easy as it sounds. In working with many advertisers on a regular basis and being approached by many more... I can't believe it has been over five years since the release of my first ebook on how to make money with Google AdSense. Originally titled "What Google Never Told You About Making Money with AdSense", the ebook came out in January 2005 with just 66 pages. Today it is in its fourth edition and comes in at over 230 pages. I still bring in around $500/day with AdSense. But Google is just ONE way... Continue Reading

WARNING: Today's post is going to rattle cages and put a spotlight on a potentially dark side of Internet marketing. Yeah, I'm probably going to tick some people off. That's life. I'm more concerned with speaking the truth. This is #2 in a series called The Truth About Internet Marketing. Part one was called "The Long Form Sales Letter. For some time it has been suspected that there is a "secret cabal" of Internet marketers... Continue Reading

At this point, you've done your research, created a compelling and competitive offer, and started outreaching to affiliates. So, now that your program is gaining traction and you have some affiliates on board, what's next? Continue Reading

So you have a business up and rolling. Now, how about establishing a sure-fire way to grow sales with little to no risk? If you are thinking affiliate marketing, the answer is yes! Affiliate marketing's pay-for-performance model makes it a low-risk, high-reward venture; it's a no-brainer for businesses looking to drive qualified sales or leads. The more complicated part is how to actually get affiliates to not just opt to join your program among the... Continue Reading

A lot of online affiliates use ClickBank to promote, buy and sell digital products. It's an easy way to sellebooks, audio and member sites, and earn commissions.
We have just released a free iPhone app that all ClickBank users with iPhones will want to download right away.
It's called Check CB. Continue Reading

Affiliate products make up a large part of my income. They're one of the revenue streams that I use on my websites and I often recommend selected products to the people on my mailing list. I use them for all sorts of reasons - and money is only one of them. Sure, an affiliate commission will always be worth more than an ad click but that's only the start of it. I also like the... I've been an Amazon.com Associate since the beginning. I'm not sure when they started their program, but it's been over ten years that I've promoted Amazon's products and services. Imagine my surprise when I received an email from Andrea, an Associates Account Specialist (is that for people who can't get jobs with the post office? I'm kidding.. relax...), that informed me my account was being closed. First of all, let me say this. I am... Continue Reading

Every time I go to a conference or take part in a seminar I meet a bunch of amazing people.
I meet people who are experts at marketing. I chat to entrepreneurs who are wizards at search engine optimization. I swap ideas with other bloggers who are making six-figure incomes on the strength of their posts.
Every one of those people is special.
But they aren't successful because they're special.
They're special because they're successful.

I believe that anyone can make money as an online publisher. I've always believed that and I've seen enough people set up websites and generate income to keep believing it.
But I know there's something wrong with this picture.
I'm not going to kid myself and it would be plain wrong to try to kid anyone else.
Some publishers are going to have an easier time than others. Continue Reading
