When was the last time you called your congressman to weigh in on an issue? When was the last time you participated in one of those surveys conducted by the national chain restaurants? You know the ones where they ask you to call in and reward you with a free appetizer or dessert. And when was the last time you left a comment on a blog? The truth is most of us never take the... Idol and Healthcare and Lost, Oh My

Posted on March 24, 2010 12:59 PM

In this weekly update, you might find me trending a bit towards pop culture. There's just so much to talk about. The title of the entry sandwiches a very serious issue in between two entertaining, yet ultimately meaningless television programs for a reason. That's because the health care discussion (if you can call it that) that has taken place in the United States the past year has been largely void of substance. Instead, the current... Safeguard Your Ideas

Posted on December 18, 2009 1:00 PM

Let me get right to the point. The reason our economy is in the tank today is that too many people are focused on creating money instead of creating real products and services. To correct this problem, we need to get back to the basics of creating products and services that people need or want, and let the money come as a result. That's the business of creativity, and it's going to be the... Continue Reading

Media Bias Is Real, Finds UCLA Political Scientist

I remember a story on the cover of Time magazine about ten years ago. It had the following headline which was just a tremendous shocker to me. It said... Continue Reading

Democrats in Their Own Words

Posted on October 10, 2005 12:34 AM

All you hear from the liberal democrats these days is "Bush lied... no weapons of mass destruction... Get out of Iraq... Saddam was not tied to terrorists... etc and so forth." I came across this series of quotes from the beloved liberal leadership that should make anyone who has supported them in the past go "hmmmm" Their own words nullify their objections with this administration, and make clear that they have absolutely no platform to... Kudos to the President Regarding John Bolton

Posted on August 1, 2005 1:08 PM

Finally, we have an Ambassador to the United Nations. The liberals and mainstream media are going nuts because the President assigned John Bolton as a recess appointment, while Congress is out of session. The recess appointment is nothing new. Clinton did 144 of them during his two terms. Reagan did around that many as well. Bolton had the needed votes in the Senate, but a few radicals filibustered and would not allow the vote to... Democrats of Death

Posted on April 16, 2005 11:08 AM

Howard Dean as head of the Democratic National Convention. Could this be any more fun? The Democrats are imploding and it is a joyous site to see. Check out this story... Dean Says Democrats Will Make Schiavo Case an Election Issue Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean said Friday that his party would wield the Terri Schiavo case against Republicans in the 2006 and 2008 elections, but for now needed to stay focused battling President... Scumbag of the Year

Posted on March 22, 2005 12:30 AM

And the award for Scumbag of the Year goes to Michael Schiavo, a reprehensible man that may be the very person responsible for his wife, Terry, being in the state she is in today. Ask yourself these questions... 1) Why won't Michael Schiavo divorce Terry and let her parents take care of her? 2) Why does Michael Schiavo care so much about Terry now when he is with another woman? You would think his current... Continue Reading

The Aviator

Posted on January 15, 2005 11:11 PM

I just got back from seeing The Aviator with Leonardo diCaprio as Howard Hughes. I believe Leonardo has gotten a bum rap as an actor for some time. I liked him in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I thought he was perfectly cast in Catch Me if You Can. And whatever else you say about Titanic, his part as Jack Dawson will go down in history. But as eccentric inventor/businessman/aviator Hughes, diCaprio should be awarded an... Continue Reading

Four More Years!

Posted on November 2, 2004 12:18 AM

A collective sigh of relief is heard across the fruited plains... George W. Bush is the first President to win a majority of the popular vote in 18 years. The Republicans have picked up seats in both the Senate and the Congress, as well as what appears to be a Governor's seat. It is a good day for America. Continue Reading

Fahrenhype 9/11

From today's edition of FamilyFirst... Today's Family First site is one that seeks to help level the playing field in current political climate. Sort of a ying to the more liberal yang that seems to be cluttering the airwaves, print media, and bandwidth of the Internet. While some of you may scoff at the material presented on this site, call it lies, hateful deception, and other things that can't and won't be repeated here, just... Continue Reading

What Democrats said about Weapons of Mass Destruction

Posted on September 1, 2004 12:29 PM

Amazingly, there are still liberals and democrats repeating the "Bush lied about WMDs" mantra. Let's put it to rest once and for all. Before we went to war in Iraq, what did DEMOCRATS say about the connection between Saddam and WMDs? "One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb...
