Where is the Integrity in Internet Marketing? challenged many of the all-too-common tactics used by unscrupulous marketers. I invited my readers to share their thoughts and experiences related to these issues, and the comments that followed were both insightful and instructional. Let's face it. There is a new job description out there, one that probably wasn't around when your grandfather was crafting his career: life coach. What exactly is a life coach, and why would you need one? You can call it what you will, but a life coach, mentor, personal consultant, etc. is someone who helps you with some aspect of your life that you can't quite see clearly and... Continue Reading

Who doesn't dream of the extraordinary feeling of taking to the air like a bird? While that sensation can only be simulated in this life, we are fortunate to live in a time where air travel is commonplace. But even though people CAN fly, I think it is safe to say that I will never pilot an aircraft. I am forever relegated to passenger status. However, one of the earliest computer games I ever played... At first glance you might thing #25 in my list of 25 Computer Games that Rocked My World is somehow related to World of Warcraft.
It's not.
In fact, when The Horde was released in 1994, there wasn't even a company called Blizzard to create the Warcraft universe.
Yet this action-strategy game holds a place in a my heart despite Kirk Cameron appearing in the video cutscenes. Continue Reading

A lot of people were surprised when I brought out iFart. Until then, I was best known as an AdSense expert. I'd written a book that explained how to make money out of content by putting Google's ads next to them. It was serious stuff with serious results, but it took serious effort to make it work.
So I follow that up with... an electronic whoopee cushion?

Whenever I teach people about making money with AdSense, I make sure to let them know how easy it is to get started. Once they understand that their original content can translate to a revenue stream, they usually want to know what to do. For someone who has never blogged before, I recommend they set up a Blogger account. Not only is it easy to use, but it is also free. And since Google owns... Continue Reading

WARNING: Today's post is going to rattle cages and put a spotlight on a potentially dark side of Internet marketing. Yeah, I'm probably going to tick some people off. That's life. I'm more concerned with speaking the truth. This is #2 in a series called The Truth About Internet Marketing. Part one was called "The Long Form Sales Letter. For some time it has been suspected that there is a "secret cabal" of Internet marketers... Continue Reading

Everyone's got a good idea, and they constantly dream of finding the perfect person who will hand them a briefcase of cash in exchange for that idea. To be honest, that's just not realistic. Ideas are pretty much worthless, unless you take action on them. Continue Reading
