Being unhealthy is no fun. I spent many years being obese and not having energy. I had finally had enough.
A couple months back I wrote about how I went from 225 pounds to 175 pounds, dropping eight inches off my waist.
But people continue to ask me how I lost so much weight.

On September 1st, 2010, I weighed in at over 225 pounds. I didn't step on the scale often because it wasn't very good news. My energy levels were low. My blood pressure was high. And I was moody. I've been at Project Fit for about a month now. My goal has been to prove you don't need to go to extremes in order to lose weight and become healthier. There's nothing wrong with extreme exercising as it really can't do you harm. But there is a problem with extreme dieting. I don't want to be extreme in any way. Three months ago, I told you that my cholesterol levels were high. My LDL (bad cholesterol) was approximately 138. My total cholesterol was 214. For the majority of my life, Heinz ketchup has been a staple in my diet. It's good on hamburgers, hotdogs and french fries. Did you know that a fast-food diet is bad for your body? Seriously.
Morgan Spurlock decided a documentary of him eating nothing but McDonalds for 30 days would make a fascinating film. What he found out was far less fascinating. After just a few days of McDonalds food, three times a day, Spurlock was sick as a dog. It may actually make for an interesting film.

We left Philadelphia early this morning and jumped on the highway towards Hershey, Pennsylvania.
