"To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven." - Ecclesiastes 3:1 Nothing lasts forever. Change is inevitable. Over the past fifteen or so years I have created dozens of websites, products, services and applications that run the gamut of new media. Content sites, information products, member sites, web-based software, iPhone applications, mobile marketing platforms, entertainment sites and more. During that time I have had some tremendous successes and some... Continue Reading

Last year my company released a revolutionary new platform for the iPhone. It was called GameDock, and it was the world's first multiplayer gaming platform for the iPhone and iPod Touch. While OpenFeint and Plus+ were creating leaderboards and achievement functionality, we had done what no other developer had done... created a matching system that would allow you to add friends and invite them to play our games in real time from anywhere in the... What's the real secret to getting things done? While much of the answer lies in things like motivation and daily habits, you also can't ignore the value of the tools you use every day to do the work. We polled our staff to find out what's running on their machines here at the office and at home. What we found is that our office has some universal solutions, and then seemed to split departmentally. So... Continue Reading

Over the past five years, I have been heavily involved in proviiding resources to help people make money online, particularly in the content-based blog space. I believe creating a blog or other content site focused on a niche or micro-niche can draw visitors and repeat visitors. I believe that content can be monetized a number of different ways creating multiple revenue streams for the site owner. And I believe that the playing field has never... Continue Reading

December 12, 2008.
A day that will live in infamy.
The aftershocks are still being felt (and smelt) throughout the iPhone universe.
And the world has never been quite the same.
For on that day, iFart Mobile was released to an iTunes AppStore public unaware of what was to come.
Pure global flatulence domination. Continue Reading

iPhone apps are all the rage right now, but having a great idea and developing a successful iPhone application are completely different things altogether. The mobile application development process is quite a bit different from a normal software development process and many of these differing factors must be considered as early as the conceptual phases of development. The objective of this article is to provide the reader a process for taking an application from... Continue Reading

You've heard the saying about not being able to fool all the people all the time.
You probably also know then that you can't please all the people all the time too.
It's an impossibility. It doesn't matter how good your content, how wonderful your website or what a great job you do, you're always going to get people who write in and complain.

I've been a huge fan of Amazon.com since Bezos launched the site out of his garage. When the pundits said "It'll never work", I said they were clueless. Of course it will work. I spend more money on Amazon then any other online store, as do many of you. I'm also a huge fan of my iPhone and I've used it to shop at Amazon many times. I joined Amazon Prime a couple years back... Continue Reading
