Become the New Owner of iFart Mobile

Posted on March 2, 2011 5:35 AM

It's been over two years since Apple approved iFart Mobile for sale in the iTunes appstore. During that time, iFart has become the defacto novelty app. Even after all this time, iFart finds its way into headlines again and again. I recently shared that I am changing my business model. In order to focus on my new efforts, I have decided it is time to sell some of my existing properties. I have already sold... Continue Reading

The Internet Marketing World Cup - What's the Score?

Posted on August 26, 2010 10:33 AM

I received an email solicitation today to take part in an alleged competition that is due to take place starting in October. It's called (brace yourself...) "The Internet Marketing World Cup" (goooooooooalllll!) It is likely you will be hearing more about this in the future so I thought it would be interesting to dissect it and share some thoughts. YouTube Interactive Video Meets iPhone App

Posted on June 15, 2010 11:03 PM

YouTube has come up with a way to link between videos. Using their annotations feature, viewers can click a certain spot on a video and be taken to another video. This creates all kind of options for doing cool stuff with videos. Well, we've just done something that I think is pretty cool! Continue Reading

iFart - The world's most famous iPhone application

Posted on January 6, 2010 11:07 AM

December 12, 2008. A day that will live in infamy. The aftershocks are still being felt (and smelt) throughout the iPhone universe. And the world has never been quite the same. For on that day, iFart Mobile was released to an iTunes AppStore public unaware of what was to come. Pure global flatulence domination. Continue Reading

Technically Speaking: What Is Cloud Computing?

Posted on January 6, 2010 9:23 AM

A couple of years ago in 2007, Google, IBM, and others set out on a large-scale cloud computing project. By mid-2008, Gartner, from Gartner.com, saw an opportunity for cloud computing to "shape the relationship among consumers of IT services, those who use IT services, and those who sell them," and observed that "organizations are switching from company-owned hardware and software assets to per-use, service-based models" so that the "projected shift to cloud computing... Posted on April 14, 2009 11:26 AM

It had to happen. The world was waiting for it. And then it was unleashed on the world like a tazmanian devil on steroids. Yes, I am talking about none other than iFart Mobile, one of the world's most-talked about applications for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch MP3 player. Continue Reading

Pull My Finger vs. iFart? The iTunes App Store Battle for Global Flatulence Domination is Explosive

Posted on December 18, 2008 12:34 AM

It's been an interesting week in Apple-world. A few months ago, a news story broke that Apple was rejecting certain applications based on their "lack of utility." The application that made news was a fart app that allowed the user to simulate flatulence noises on their iPhone. Like most guys, I have to laugh. I don't know why. It's in our genes, I guess. Anyhow, at the same time, similar applications were submitted to Apple... Continue Reading

2008 Internet Marketing New Years Resolutions

Posted on January 1, 2008 11:15 AM

Happy New Year! It's officially 2008, and you know what that means. It means I'll probably mess up a bunch of checks by writing 2007 as I get used to the idea of the new number! But it also means the holidays are over. Time to get back to work. It's a good thing I enjoy my work! How about you? Maybe you've bought revenue-generating training material and software but you aren't using it. Is... Continue Reading

JV Alert Live

Posted on March 20, 2006 4:10 PM

I remember receiving an email from someone in early 2005, just after the first edition of my ebook had come out. He asked me if I was interested in doing a "JV". Being mostly ignorant of Internet marketing jargon at the time, I only knew JV to mean Junior Varsity. Since that time, I have found out that JV means Joint Venture. And Joint Venture means MONEY. That really chaps his hide

Careful! Cellphones can be hazardous to your health! Especially explosive phones... KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- A Malaysian man was shaken and scalded Tuesday after his mobile phone exploded beside him while he was sleeping, the national news agency reported. Mohamed Radzuan Yasin said he was recharging his cell phone and placed it on his bed near him before he took a nap. Three hours later, he was jarred awake by what he described as a... The Trans-Siberian Orchestra - LIVE!

Posted on November 21, 2003 3:22 PM

About six years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to a new Christmas CD by The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. For those not familiar with the band, they are all rock and rollers, many with a heavy metal background. Their first album, Christmas Eve and other Stories is unlike anything I've ever heard before. It's a rock opera. It's spiritual. It's progressive rock. Simply put, it is an album that captures the essence of Christmas better... Continue Reading
