Joel

Posted on May 7, 2010 8:18 AM

Joel. It's not a common name. In fact, it is the 280th most common first name. The Old Testament contains a book of Joel. He is referenced as one of twelve Minor Prophets. The word "minor" has to do with the length of the book, not implying that Joel was a small guy or that his prophecies were in any way less significant. I mean, let's face it... a Word from God is a Word... Continue Reading

Posted on March 13, 2010 3:47 PM

Many people discover me for the first time through any number of products or services. For some it is my iPhone applications. For others it is my book on making money with Google, The AdSense Code. Then there are those who know me from my sites that focus on affiliate marketing. Still others first found me through my social media presence or books (eg: Twitter Power). As it turned out, my wife really liked it. So I decided to keep it, rarely shaving it off over the years only to grow it back again. But times have changed... Continue Reading

Lego Mayor

Posted on December 9, 2004 12:00 AM

Someone on Deal of Day introduced me to an amusing online toy today. It is called The Mini Mizer, where you can picture yourself as a Lego character. Created by Chris Doyle of ReasonablyClever.com, this little gadget allows you to select from different heads, bodies, limbs and more to customize a Lego character that looks like whatever you want. Here is me, with the addition of an airbrushed goatee. Fun stuff, huh? To create your... Continue Reading
