Shakeology

Posted on September 13, 2011 6:43 PM

One year ago today, I weighed in at 225 pounds with a 40-inch waist. With just a 5'10" frame, I was unhealthy and on the road to very bad things. Today, I am 170 pounds with a 32-inch waist. I've never felt better in my life. And people continue to ask me what plan I followed. It's simple. Eat less and move your body more. Common sense, right? However, there are some things I did... Helping the Homeless

Posted on October 2, 2010 4:36 AM

As I travel around our country, I can not help but notice the epidemic of homelessness. There are so many people on the streets of our cities. How many more are there that we DON'T see? We've all encountered homeless people in our cities or towns. My heart goes out to those who don't have a safe place to rest their heads. It's even more heartbreaking when those people are children. I recently had the... Continue Reading

Posted on September 18, 2010 11:19 AM

Some people love to exercise. I am not one of those people. However, it is important to move the body and get your heart rate to an aerobic zone. In this episode of Project Fit I take a jog/stroll around my neighborhood. I'm pretty candid with the reality of the situation. And shin splints aren't helping me along any. Watch and be sure to leave your comments. Continue Reading

Top Ten Christmas Favorites

Posted on December 25, 2009 12:39 AM

Christmas. Seems like we measure a good part of our year by the celebration of Christ's birth. I know. For many people Christmas is very much a secular holiday. A time for family and friends. A time for decorating and hanging pretty lights. A time for the wonder of Santa Claus and flying reindeer. And a time for gift-giving. And regardless of whether or not Target has the cajones to allow the nice Salvation Army... Continue Reading

Mr. Strauss answered the question with a definitive "No" and gave several reasons. One must wonder how someone who so clearly does not understand Twitter was able to speak as an "expert." As a true expert on the subject, I wish to set the record straight and dissuade entrepreneurs from acting on Mr. Strauss... Continue Reading
