One year ago today, I weighed in at 225 pounds with a 40-inch waist. With just a 5'10" frame, I was unhealthy and on the road to very bad things. Today, I am 170 pounds with a 32-inch waist. Being unhealthy is no fun. I spent many years being obese and not having energy. I had finally had enough.
A couple months back I wrote about how I went from 225 pounds to 175 pounds, dropping eight inches off my waist.

You've hopefully heard that the point of social media sites like Twitter and Facebook isn't just to amass followers. Have you ever gotten your car stuck in a ditch? Your rear tires desperately try to find traction only to spin deeper and deeper into the mud. Experts say that you should eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. I believe they are probably correct, but I have a really hard time adjusting my eating habits that much. I'm more likely to skip breakfast altogether, eat a decent lunch and pig out for dinner. Wednesdays at our office is IntaJuice day. Everyone gets their choice of healthy fresh fruit or veggie juice.
Since I am on a course to a healthier me, my assistant told me I should try a wheatgrass shot.
After some resistance, I decided I would give it a go.
