There's a look that I've seen way too many times. It doesn't happen often, but even once is enough. I'll be standing in front of an audience at a conference or teaching a class, and I'll see my audience's eyes glaze over. I remember receiving an email from someone in early 2005, just after the first edition of my ebook had come out. He asked me if I was interested in doing a "JV".
Being mostly ignorant of Internet marketing jargon at the time, I only knew JV to mean Junior Varsity.
Since that time, I have found out that JV means Joint Venture.
