Things change fast in this business -- that's nothing new. Change can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on how you deal with it within your organization. Maintaining flexibility is cliché (and usually overstated) and in my opinion rarely defined in a specific context. The California Supreme Court got one right. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The California Supreme Court on Thursday voided the nearly 4,000 same-sex marriages sanctioned in San Francisco this year and ruled unanimously that the mayor overstepped his authority by issuing marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples.
