I just can't make a video. I don't have a nice camera or any equipment and I certainly can't afford any of that high-end editing software. I'm just too busy and there's not really any time. Besides, I wouldn't know where to begin even if I had the equipment or the time. Continue Reading

One of the most frequently asked questions that seems to surface again and again is "How do I start an online business with very little money?" Unlike brick and mortar businesses that frequently require retail or office space, inventory of products and an in-house staff, an online business can be run from home with no inventory and outsourced staff. This entry will lay out the absolute bare essentials needed to start your own online business... Continue Reading

"Focus on what's meaningful, not what's measurable." I wish I'd said that. It wasn't me though. It was Warren Buffet, a man much smarter -- and a great deal wealthier -- than me. And not surprisingly, it's great advice and it's especially important for online marketers. The Web gives us access to all sorts of figures. Our AdSense stats tell us our clickthrough rates, our eCPMs, how our channels are doing and of course, our... Continue Reading

Google is very protective of its AdSense code. Start changing bits here and there and you can't expect to keep your account open for very long. But there's one exception to that rule and it's a very important one. You can put this code on your Web pages: <script type="text/javascript"> var random_number = Math.random(); if (random_number //your first ad unit code goes here } else { //your second ad unit code goes here } </script> <script type="text/javascript... I hope it got your attention, because what I am about to share with you can be HUGE. And I have THREE things I need to share with you. So be sure you read all the way to end or you might miss out on the best stuff! Ok, here's the deal (pardon my excitement, but this really is big!) As you know, AdSense is not the only contextual advertising service on the web. Google... Continue Reading

I am blogging from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, where I am my family are awaiting an 8:55 pm departure to Oklahoma City. We've been here since 1 pm and our first flight was cancelled. With bad weather in Chicago and OKC, I'm not sure we're going to make it home tonight at all. Such is life, right? So I thought I'd make the best use of my time and write for a bit. In particular... November 4, 2005.
That date stands as a milestone for me, and for the growth of my business.
It was the date I stepped out on faith, put my money on the table, and attended Armand Morin's Big Seminar in Los Angeles, California.
Why was it such a milestone?

I am sick to my stomach after reading this story about some High School punks sexually abusing a 16-year old disabled girl while other students stood by and watched. Rather than rehash the incredibly disgusting story (and the castrated administrators and teachers who have NO business being in the educational system), I want to address the real problem. Our society has not only become to permissive, but corporations and many leaders are now endorsing immoral... Continue Reading

What would happen if you took 150 digital video camcorders to Iraq, handed them out to the people, and allowed them to film whatever they want? You get a film titled Voices of Iraq, an independent film hitting theatres October 29th. The filmmakers wanted to let the Iraqi people create the content for a documentary that would allow people to see what life is really like for those living in this war-torn nation. The producers... It happened. It was bound to sooner or later. Actually, it happened right on schedule. When I was a young lad, a teenager, I remember thinking that forty was a long way off. I did the math in my head and realized that I would be forty in the year 2004. Wow, that was an eternity away. Welcome to eternity. Yesterday was my 40th birthday. I took the day off from work (do I really... Continue Reading

Today we visited The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. As a Jew, I have been wanting to see the museum for a long time. I knew it would be a "must see" if I ever made it to Washington. I'm not sure I can put my experience into words, and perhaps it is best that I don't even try. I don't want to minimize my visit into simple cliches. I'll sum up by saying this... Continue Reading

Finally, a movie that depicts the last day of Christ's life in a realistic manner. Mel Gibson has gone against the flow of Hollyweird, stepping out to produce and direct The Passion, a project that has been close to his heart for many years. This movie depicts the last 12 hours of the life of Jesus Christ. And it isn't going to be easy to watch. Just about every Jesus flick I have seen shows... Continue Reading
