The Compound Effect

Posted on October 13, 2010 8:00 AM

I've been at Project Fit for about a month now. My goal has been to prove you don't need to go to extremes in order to lose weight and become healthier. There's nothing wrong with extreme exercising as it really can't do you harm. But there is a problem with extreme dieting. I don't want to be extreme in any way. After reading The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, I wanted to put his theories... Continue Reading

A Visit to My Alternative Medicine Doctor

Posted on October 8, 2010 5:56 AM

In this episode of Project Fit, I paid a visit to my alternative medicine doctor to get a second opinion on what I needed to do to become more healthy. We discussed a number of things, including the foods I eat, my exercise plan and my cholesterol levels. According to the American Cancer Society all men should be regularly checked for signs of prostate cancer at the age of fifty. I'm not fifty yet, but... Continue Reading

A Taste of My Own Medicine

Running your own business and making money online is fun. But if you don't stop to enjoy the blessings that come from having financial freedom... well, what's the point? I've spent the better part of this year setting up shop in Colorado, creating new materials to help you make money, traveling and speaking at seminars, and preparing to shoot the world's first Internet marketing reality show. That's the way the Universe operates. Continue Reading

Bulbous Bouffant

Galoshes. Mukluks. Gazeebo. Macadamia. Blubber. Baluga. When you read those words, you either know what I am talking about and are busting out laughing, or you think I am totally insane and should be committed (well, you may be right on both counts). Continue Reading

I am a Type-A personality. My mind typically goes 100 MPH and I tend to thrive on being busy. I may even be somewhat addicted to stress, as I do some of my best work under pressure. Because of this, my blood pressure has tended towards borderline and I don't always chill out so easily. My next-door neighbor at work is Dr. Mark Morgan. Mark is a chiropracter and practicioner of alternative medicines. He has... Continue Reading
