According to an article in Mashable, iFart has been dubbed the #12 most popular iPhone app in a new infographic created by three companies specializing in iOS apps.
Game-maker Chillingo, app search engine Chomp and app blog 148apps, released this very interesting infographic to celebrate the milestone of Apple having 500,000 apps in their iTunes AppStore. A great feat, indeed! Continue Reading

Over the past couple years, information marketers have come under greater scrutiny by the United States Federal Trade Commission. The FTC has taken several companies and individuals to task for deceptive Internet marketing practices. As the largest seller of information products online, Clickbank.com is now issuing clearer guidelines for the types of products and/or marketing practices that will be more closely scrutinized going forward. In other words, they are going to be working harder to... Continue Reading

It's been over two years since Apple approved iFart Mobile for sale in the iTunes appstore. During that time, iFart has become the defacto novelty app. Even after all this time, iFart finds its way into headlines again and again. I recently shared that I am changing my business model. In order to focus on my new efforts, I have decided it is time to sell some of my existing properties. I have already sold... Continue Reading

I recently wrote a few articles that created quite a bit of response from my readers. Where is the Integrity in Internet Marketing? challenged many of the all-too-common tactics used by unscrupulous marketers. I invited my readers to share their thoughts and experiences related to these issues, and the comments that followed were both insightful and instructional. Let's face it. On September 1st, 2010, I weighed in at over 225 pounds. I didn't step on the scale often because it wasn't very good news. My energy levels were low. My blood pressure was high. And I was moody. I didn't want to feel that way anymore. I had lost weight in the past, but I wasn't sure I could do it again. After all, I DID balloon back to my previous weight AND put on... Continue Reading

(Written by guest contributor Tim Golen) I'm going to tell you a true story. When I was first hired at Infomedia, I helped develop an online training program that turned into what today is known as The Profit Vault (http://www.theprofitvault.com). It was designed to be a 13-week course that contained all of our company's knowledge about how to set up a website and start earning revenue from it. I was in charge of developing the... I'm pretty happy with the revenues the ad units on my websites generate every month. I'd be a lot happier though with the revenues that Richard Rosenblatt's websites receive every month. Continue Reading

(Written by guest contributor Tim Golen) I'm going to get up on my soapbox for a little bit here. You see... I consider myself to be a good programmer. Now, I don't mean the BEST programmer, just a good one. I know there are so many things that I have yet to learn out there. In my days I've come across both good and bad programmers, and I could probably write a decent book on... Continue Reading

First of all, I want to wish all my family, friends and associates in the United States a very Happy Thanksgiving. I'm sure it will be filled with lots of fun, bonding and good food. I may have to put a couple pounds back on today. Now, what's with this Green Friday thing? As you know, the Friday after Thanksgiving is typically known as Black Friday. It's the day that people camp out in line... Continue Reading

(Written by guest contributor Joel Ownby) Accepting payment online for your products and services sounds like a pretty simple endeavor, and at a low level it is. Understanding what is happening behind the scenes is an entirely different proposition. Understanding the nuts and bolts of payment processing will grant you the ability to provide better customer service, generate more accurate cash flow and projection data, help you to better understand technical issues involving payment processing... (Written by guest contributor Tim Golen) This article is for three primary audiences. It's for the business owner who does his own programming and development. It's for the business owner who has hired or contracted a developer to work for him. It's for the developer doing the work. I will be discussing the single piece of software that can increase your efficiency more than any other investment. Yes, it is an investment in your business... Continue Reading

Remember the good old days? AM radio blaring the latest top forty hits. Televisions with dials on the set so you would have to get up to change the channel. And who can forget the typewriter? Simply put in a piece of paper and start typing! It was magical. That is, until you made a mistake. Get the White Out! The magical days of the typewriter have returned. Only now you don't really need paper... Continue Reading

What would you do if you were God? We're talking about the Supreme Being; the Almighty; the Alpha and Omega; the Big Cheese; the Head Honcho; the Man in the Sky. You get the picture. Many of us behave as though we are God. We erroneously think the world revolves around us. Trust me, I've been there before. But if you had all of eternity on your hands and were just hanging out by yourself... Continue Reading
