If you asked someone off the street (let's call him Joe Internet) what it costs to start an online business, chances are he would say hundreds, perhaps even thousands of dollars. Those with basic Internet knowledge probably realize it's not that expensive, and most online marketers know you can get started for free. I've been on the world wide web since 1994. I launched my first web site in 1995. At that time, it cost $35 to register a domain name for one year. In fact, some registrars STILL charge $35/year. On top of that, there is a surcharge for DNS hosting, which is necessary for running a web site. Times have changed.
